Captain America and Winter Soldier (MCU) vs. Morpheus and Trinity (Matrix)

• No prep or prior knowledge. Win by any means.
• Morpheus and Trinity have their Matrix powers.
• The fight starts 50 yards apart and visible in an unoccupied helicarrier factory.

Round 1:

• H2H only.

Round 2:

• Cap has his shield.
• Morpheus has a katana and two handguns.
• Bucky and Trinity each have one submachine gun, two handguns, and one combat knife. All the guns have extra clips.

Hmm... I can't seem to remember Either Matrix combatant doing anything THAT impressive in the first one. I'd have to rewatch it. Leaning MCU right now.

Cap and WS definitely have the advantage in strength and arguably in durability. Morpheus and Trinity have the speed advantage and skill advantage.

1. I'd honestly give the slight edge to team Cap. I mean Morph and Trinity have more skill in H2H, but I feel like Cap and WS's durability is too much for them to overcome. And while I maintain that team Matrix have the speed advantage, it's not like Cap or Bucky are slouches in the speed dept. They're still peak human...so...the gap isn't big enough to really make a difference for Morph and Trinity, IMO.
2. Again, I'd lean towards Cap and Bucky. Their gear can tank pretty much anything Morph and Trinity can throw at them.

Honestly this is a mismatch, comic cap and bucky would ve a better match and i'd still think they would lose

Hmmmm this is interesting. H2H goes to Matrix team. Literally downloaded every martial art. Thats technically above Batman. No small thing. Also strength is another pretty close thing. Morpheus went through a brick wall to attack Smith and broke his handcuffs' chain. Trinity has shown to kick foes across the room. Thats Cap level strength right there. Cap has his shield which tanks everything the matrix team has, BUT superior H2H can possibly squeak out a few Katana hits from Morpheus. He ALMOST got an agent with a Katana. In his universe thats amazing, and he technically defeated the ghost enemies, once again impressive. Bucky's one arm gives him the strength advantage in ONE arm. I think agent strength is that level if not more and Trinity and Morpheus have experienced it before. At first I was leaning towards cap and Bucky but after some careful consideration I think team Matrix can win here.

Correct me if im wrong, but neither of these combatants did either. See, when i first saw this battle i thought the same thing. Then i remembered that was NEO who did all that stuff, and the basis of that whole movie was to show that NEO was the one. And all of what he could do, could not be replicated by anyone else.

Are you talking about when they save Morpheus? If so, no she didn't. Neo did and the Agent did. Now she did Aim dodge in the Lobby scene when she ran up the wall. But that is far less impressive. That was more or less making the Cops miss rather than directly dodging the bullets, if that makes any sense.

A big point was made that they can't bullet time but agents can and Neo of course, Trinity was amazed that he moved like the Agents.

Matrix Team, they have the physicals and much better skill.

I'd go with Captain America and Bucky. they're simply much more durable and while maybe not as skilled. They are certainly strong combatants

Team Matrix.

The final deciding factor for me giving team Matrix the win, on top of physicals and skill, is that they both had impressive one on one fights against the "upgraded" agents of the Matrix Reloaded movie and did surprisingly well. Both Morpheus and Trinity were able to hang in there for a while and go toe to toe with agents. Morpheus actually killed the agent (due to circumstances) and Trinity was forced to flee when a second agent showed up. I'm not saying Morpheus or Trinity could defeat an agent one on one, but still impressive fights for both of them.

After Cap's motorcycle toss in the Age of Ultron trailer, has anyone changed their mind to support Cap and Bucky?

Cap is a 75 tonner and he can hold his own against Man Of Steel Kryptonians, so how does the Matrix team do anything to him?

For me as of civil war. Matrix team still has it but the gap has shrunk. That said, Imao you could still add black panther and matrix still 6/10. Add ironman(just h2h) and they might be convincingly beating matrix

Matrix takes it all rounds. They are top tier of street leveler ability
