My understanding of Killer Croc is that he's quite animalistic, correct me if I'm wrong. That would be a simple enough explanation for why he usually loses.
Well as an easy answer, Killer Crock could probably beat a street thug. I mean some random street thug, I'd say Killer Croc could take 30 or so of them with ease.
Crocs strength is like 5 tons is it not? he can also withstand shotgun blasts at point blank range and rip a bank vaults door off, He could kill Bane as well not new 52 Bane. Arkham Aslyum Croc would be on the high end of street level while comic croc would be mid, he really isnt that bad, yeah two face beat him by shoving a bottle in his eye and using some PIS doesnt make him crap.
@AmazingScrewOnHead: Kraven the Hunter: Took on Spider-Man on multiple occasions boosted his own stats with potions and is a master hunter, a trait that makes him excel at tracking and defeating foes with traps. Fighting Croc is right up his alley honestly, and he'd most likely come out on top unless he was restricted to being unarmed.
Cap catches a Torpedo. Very old scan, so may or may not still be cannon, but still cool.
Cap knocks a helicopter out of the sky with his shield.
Cap knocks out Beast (a 10 tonner)
Cap knocks out Rhino (an 80 tonner)
Cap knocks out Namor (a 100 tonner)
Cap hits Spider-Man, note Spider-Man (a 15 tonner, and has taken hits from Hulk before) is visibly dazed and comments on how strong Cap is.

Elektra would have her sais, and has telepathy. Croc isn't touching her.
He should stomp anyone below Meta-human (peak human etc...) and should be able to hang with most Meta's. So plenty of people.
Batman is below Meta...so is Tim Drake...they've both beat Croc.
Croc is probably the worst jobber in comics. We've seen him shrug of far more damage than Batman can dish out. In a random encounter Batman shouldn't be able to beat him.
He is a batman villain so he always will lose, but I agree he is a cool character (although I hate when they make him look like an actual crocodile, ugh). I'm pretty sure if batman wasn't batman Croc would have bitten off his face by now. and as far as him being animalistic leading to all his defeats......what would be a harder situation to get your self out of? being in water or in a closed area with an Angry Croc or being in a room with a hand to hand specialist? I'm thinking I'd rather take my chances with a human who likes to punch :) Croc is nerfed solely to show how awesome whack-man is

Croc could probally do the same, minus the bullet part he wouldnt even need to dodge them he can just tank them, Punisher isnt gona bring down croc with standard equipment, he lacks the fire power and unarmed he is as good as dead, When croc fought bane it was basically a heavily built green man vs a highly trained fighter at peak human level, Croc became more animal like and grew far stronger and more durable than that, even batman said he was outclassed by Croc and Batman>>>>Bane. It all depends on the version really im more talking about Hush Croc and beyond Knightfall.
The only decent appearances Killer Croc are his fights in Hush, and his fights in Outsiders. Other than that, he really doesn't have any feats :/

Cap and Kraven would both beat the $#!+ out of Croc. Punisher and Elektra would also beat him as well.
None of these characters can beat a properly written Croc UNARMED(emphasis) ,maybe Kraven from what I've heard he's had new enhancements.

Elektra loses with or without sais,Punisher depends on the distance,and please stop posting PIS showings for Cap(Spidey,Rhino,Namor seriously?).

Knightfall Bane would beat him as well,it would be bloody but I can see Bane snapping his jaws or neck.
