All matches must be balanced and equal? , Not necessarily, the Captain America defeated Rhino and Carnage .. sometimes the weaker characters can win

It wasn't cannon but all her moves were exactly like the game. If you want to throw in cannon, Leifang was able to completely destroy a bolder and Hitomi is just about as equal as her.

Yeah... Because there are few limits on the combinations of characters that can be used for battles here.
There are unequal battles but you would be insane to think the mods are going to shuffle through nearly 6 years of threads to lock every mismatch. They will however, lock the mismatches that we (the users) flag. If you think it is mismatched, flag it.

The only mandatory rule is the one right before you hit accept to terms of the site. That's it.... All these other rules are rules created by mods. Not the staff. I'm sure the staff don't even mind having flexibility on their forums since all they really care for is the rating of traffic of the site. Not individual forum rules created by mods.

No thread has ever been locked because it was too old. Threads get locked for being stomps, having flame wars in them, or breaking established rules. If it causes users too much strain to take 4 minutes to read the battle forum rules, then maybe they should look elsewhere to create threads.

I didn't ask you a yes or no question. Don't make make mismatch threads. The rules clearly state that. If you've seen mismatch threads that aren't locked, either we missed them because they weren't flagged or we weren't present when they we active.

Ok, I'm going to bump a thread. If it gets locked, it gets locked. If it doesn't, it doesn't.
I have feats for Cammy, but I don't care enough about Hitomi to know what she's done and judging by the fact she's not an important part of the DOA storyline..I can almost guess she's done nothing that would put her on Cammy's level.
I read the rules when I came its called being courteous to others. The only rules that matter are not making dupe threads, not making mismatches, not making battles with a clear winner in mind, and continue to keep this a family friendly site. That's all you need to know before making matches. Mercy or Vance or Static or any other mods dont deliberately lock your thread because the dislike you or anything but because you did not follow one of t very few rules that this site has. There is no reason for anyone to get mad for there threads being locked because you brung it on yourself. So in all honesty if you have a problem with the rules just leave

But has she actually beaten them? Has Hitomi in canon story line defeated Kasumi,Ayane,Hayabusa,or Hayate? You said she went up against a guy who studies the same art as Cammy..who are you talking about Leon or Bayman? Cammy would curbstomp them.
Canonicaly hitomi has only defeated Leifeng. While Cammy has fended off M-bison and defeated vega (though he was holding back as not to mar such a beauty) Also Hitomi's background of "Studied Karate allot" is much less impressive than cammys "Programed to be a super assasin"

It just one is fighting for his country, one use to fight for his country and now is a mercenary because he lost his wife. They both know each other.

I'm asking you if she's beaten them because she would pretty much have to, to beat Cammy. I think Cammy would be just as likely to hold her own against them as Hitomi is, if not more. I don't know why you're giving me Leon and Bayman's backstory, i'm simply asking if that's who you meant when you said Hitomi has fought someone who has the same fighting style? If that is who you meant than I don't see how that matters considering the way Cammy uses the style is COMPLETELY different than what either of them do.
