Cable did recently get his Telekinesis/Telepathy back didnt he? If so then its him, mind over matter and such. But if we are talking a good old fashioned bar room brawl Kung-fu smash up, its gotta be blade [im thinking of the movies purely here i think i have only sween 1 comic were blade has been up to any respectable standard]i believe him to be a better martial artist, and one serious dude.
I think Blade has the advantage is speed and skill but that may be where it ends. Cable has more advance guns, etc. He also has his mental abilities. So if Blade can get the kill before Cable realizes he is there then he can win but if they are open arena fighting I am going to give it to Cable.
The problem is that if you do open field that really cuts down on how a lot of people fight. Look at Batman. He hardly ever goes stirght into a fight. He sneaks around and attacks while they are not ready. By doing open fiel it unables alot of characters abilities that make them great.
True, but some characters are cooler in full fledged combat. Batman is pretty cool, but I enjoy strait up, pure fights. Normally I make it an open field but other times, it'll be like a city environment.
So guns are involved too? well okay, i dont think Cable having a more advanced set of guns really matters if he cant hit the guy. Vampires [again movie based thinking here] seem to be able to dodge bullets...i.e the scene with Deacon Frost when he meets Blade in the daylight. Also a shot to the head is a shot to the head....so Blades contemporary weapons are still valid. But like i said Cable at his full power has this...otherwise purely skill... [and i suppose we would still have to count Blades strength and speed/reflexes as he hasnt lost them, thus making him so much faster and stronger than Cable as without Telekinesis he is not able to boost those attributes past a peak human; which Blade is far beyond] I still think Blade would do it.
Ok well I think cable will win but he wont win easy. Because blade has demonic abilities, super speed (faster than vampires), super strength, vampirism (if he bites cable, cable will die and/or turn) and the ability to travel into the demonic realm. But as a whole character and his developments cable has come a lot further than blade and is more successful.
Oh well at least Blade is immortal, so he will outlive cable in the end.
