Cable has full power vs Thor in downtown setting. No rules or morals and the battle is to the death.

Cable didn't stalemate the Surfer. He got lobotomized by him.

Didn't Cable Stalemate the Surfer, or was that PIS? Can't remember at all to be honest, all I remember was them reconstructing everything around them, lol.

@ReVamp: Nah, he just broke Surfer's board, but it didn't really effect Norrin. I'm sure someone will drop a scan soon.

And from what I remember He was kinda holding back...Surfer may have been too, though I guess. At any rate Cable was so powerful that they only person they could call in to handle him was Norrin...that should give people the idea of the power levels he was at.

Yeah, Silver Surfer was essentially like "b*tch please, calm yourself" from what I remember. So I don't think it was even at all, Cable just surprised him.

Awwwww man, that's great. Make sure you read their notes and sketch art at the end their comments are pretty funny and really informative of the creative process.

Cable was particularly impressive in his Savior form (he was telekinetically supporting Providence while fighting the Surfer, too), but being fair, Thor was dead at the time, so it's not like they could had called on him to moderate the situation.

Did you get some special edited version? because...this isn't a stalemate. its a flat out beat down by the SS, who in turns has been beaten my Thor.

Thor wins in a curbstomp.

Being technical, Thor and Surfer stalemated in Thor's own series recently. Thor has beaten the Surfer during Blood and Thunder, but he defeated practically everyone in that story and SS had at least two power-ups since then.

Be that as it may, I don't believe we are ever going to see a fight that demonstrates it.

Well to be honest. they didn't really fight till the end, where Cable broke Surfers Board...and Surfer responded by one shot KO'ing Cable, up until then they just had wrestled for a bit while Cable was explaining his actions and motives to SS.

Well...base off their previous encounters, yes. i mean in Blood & Thunder, Silver Surfer had step in to defend Beta Rey Bill who was being killed my a Warrior Madness Thor, who then in turn focus his attention on SS, and beat him up instead. lol , then Adam Warlock steep in to help SS, so Thor started fighting him.

I think they have fought 3 times, 2 being victories for Thor, while the third was inconclusive do to the fact that it was stop by Odin..i believe they fought again shortly after that fight, but I don't know the outcome of that fight.

Is Thor immune to telepathy, or does he have a high tolerance to it? Because I'd assume that Cable having telepathy would mean a disadvantage for Thor. Otherwise, Cable might have a chance using Telekinesis, though I doubt he has enough force to put Thor down. In other words, I give Cable 2/10, and Thor the majority.

@Dark Cloud™: I don't think Thor's immune to telepathy, but he has shown to be really resistant to it. Some high end feats I remember are him resisting both Moondagon and Goddess mental manipulations. He's casted out Loki's spiritual influence from his mind. Moondragon with the mind gem couldn't affect Thor with her mind blast.

Then that leaves Cable with only using telekinesis. I think Thor would win in the long run.

His mind was taken over by the Goddess. I don't know how long it took but she got to him. and Thor was crazy(out of his mind) when Moondragon tried to affect him. Thor was doing stuff that he has never been able to repeat. maybe Cable can't take over his mind but he may be able to mind blast him. there is a difference.

@pooty:

Hence the words "high end feats". Other than that, regardless of tk or tp. Thor may take the majority over Cable, but I can be swayed if there's something that a full powered cable can show to be a big enough threat to cause real worry to Thor.

@Boneawl: i got nothing conclusive that gives cable the battle. i will look somethings up. but even while fighting surfer he was holding up an island and repairing damage from their battle. i'll be back if i find something

I always thought that too considering Thor was usually written more powerful back then as he is now. Since Thor has gotten weaker and as Morph pointed out, Surfer has had some potent upgrades since then. But Fraction's Mighty Thor and Surfer arc didn't really sit well with me. I still think Surfer is above Thor, though.

On topic: Thor ftw in this thread.

Really Surfer got nerfed majorily by Fraction, he gets weaker the more he moves from Earth. Thor would just need to teleport him a good distance away then beat him down.
