Bumi Vs Azula

Amazingly, this hasn't been done before.

Round 1 takes place in the arena where Bumi fought Aang

Round 2 takes place in the underground ring where Toph fought as the Blind Bandit

Who wins?

Definitely Bumi, remember when Iroh just one shots Azula on the ship? That's the kind of tier Bumi is on, I mean she's a prodigy and I'm not saying Azula is less talented, but the skill and experience difference is immense. Bumi wins all rounds in my opinion.

Not to mention Bumi was able to keep up with Aang, who was pretty much in the same class as Azula in terms of agility. He may be old, but he was a very powerful and skilled Earth bender.

Bumi traps her underground like that General did to Katara.

Bumi could probably win with both hands tied behind his back.

You could tie up all his limbs and he could still win using his face.

Bumi, Azula isnt really on his level imo. She's extremely gifted for her age but she's not behind a guy with 100+ years of experience under his belt. He practically eats fire benders for breakfast.

Well tbh I believe that since Azula has never seen someone bend without moving their body it would catch her off guard and by the time she realized he bent already she would have a boulder kissing her cheek.

Nonetheless Bumi wins a solid victory.

Bumi can casually levitate monuments with his eyebrows. He wins.

Make it sane Azula, give her Sozin's Comet and Zuko with swords and also comet enhanced bending aiding her, confine Bumi to a coffin so that he has no use of his limbs, and then Azula MIGHT survive.

Without that puts current Azula a good fight up, but looses, he is still too much.

Even on Sozin's Comet, Azula will die badly.

Even in her current stage as a kemurikage who's composed and thinking straight again and can redirect lightning during the day of Sozin's Comet, Azula will lose to Bumi.

Bumi is just too strong for firebenders

Azula can give him a fight, maybe win a couple rounds, but nowhere near a majority.

But he isn't beating her with the comet, he's more enhansed Zuko level.

Composite Azula can certainly win a round or two... She was dancing around Suki, Ty and Mai in her last appearance and she has the best firebending feats in the Avatarverse, she could presumably close the distance and take him down in CQ, her mobility is great.

Bumi wins this, though Azula might takes a round or two through greater speed & mobility.

Bullshit to the max, Bumi is extremely strong but that's no reason to wank him now.

Bumi loses the majority against Comet amped Kemurikage Azula any day, even unamped Kemurikage Azula can like others already mentioned already win 1 or 2 rounds.

That has nothing to do with firebending, no Water(barring bloodbending of course), other Earth or even Airbender wins without amps the majority against Bumi. Kemurikage Azula is even one of the few who actually puts up a fight and can win rounds.

You did never read the comics right?

I'm surprised with the consensus. I'm pretty sure Azula would take this fairly easily, unless I'm not remembering feats from Bumi (which always happens when I debate avatar).

@itachus17: What unsubstantiated source led you to believe he can't be beaten? Katara would Murk Bumi with water AoE, Toph would encase him in metal then crush him, and Aang has flat out oneshotted a meteor bigger than a building with air.

Azula could shoot him lightning to the head, Azula could kill him with explosive blasts, Azula could burn him to death, Azula could..., except he would not just let that happen exactly as against Katara, Toph and even Air only Aang(who would have bloodlusted the best chance though). Katara and Toph would even need special surroundings to even just try that.

One of the most idiotic things i've ever heard regarding Avatar, Earth is not even an especially good counter against Fire(especially not against Azula). Bumi is simply on a higher lvl than the other benders(barring Avatars or kind of Amon).

King Bumi has not very many feats in comparison, but the ones he actually has are pretty damn crazy.

What counter does bumi have to Kataras AoE of water? What counter does Bumi have to toph simply metalbending through his earth constructs? Or the fact that she doesn't need to see to bend meaning she can hit him behind his shields to an effortless degree. Azula beating aangs mediocre mastery of earth in book 2 is nowhere near enough to merit it would do anything to Bumi. Simple common sense could tell you these things but you seem to be devoid of it.

Firebenders also have no defense to high end earth bending attacks due to the irrefutable fact it's not a solid. I can't see how real world physics would seem idiotic to anyone but this is the same guy who thinks fire > rocks.
