@silverrings: Slade, IMO has stats advantage. Just a little but I think he is slightly more durable. And probably stronger. Their reflxes and speed are comparable. Then there is skill. I know that Buffy is supposed to be best fighter in her verse but that doesn't automatically put her above combatants from other verse. Slade has been shown to be a better h2h fighter than Oliver who I think is a better combatant than Buffy. I am basing my post on TV Buffy strictly. I've never read a single tie in comics.

Slade also has a sword here which he has shown to be very skilled with. He threw the sword over 40ft with great accuracy and was able to slice arrows mid air which is actually very hard to do since arrows while in air are not supported by anything.

And from what I can remember, Buffy hasn't shown to be bulletproof like Slade. So a sword with Slade's strength behind it should be able to seriously hurt her. Not to mention his normal punches which packs more power than Buffy's.

Buffy will have a very hard time hurting Slade. He tanked(completely) a hit from bloodlusted Roy who hits much harder than Buffy. He tanked a bullet and claimed that even a mine wouldn't kill him. And Slade is not the one to brag.

@rbt: Thanks for the details dude, i appreciate it, all good points. I'll specify in the set up that Buffy only gets tv feats, because i've never read the comics either. Not interested, personally.

I really like this match up. Buffy should win as she has taken on bigger threats than Slade.

I've never watched Arrow so can someone list some feats?

I see a lot of people saying DS here and if that really is the case then he should have effortlessly conquered not only Arrow but the entire CW lineup in seconds. She is a full blown meta that can hang with comic Slade; I find it hard to believe he is stronger on a romance TV show.

Buffy, she punches harder. She has blows that have sent Caleb the preacher and Glory flying. Both are stronger than Slade & more durable when it comes to blunt force. Slade maybe very durable when it comes to piercing damage but, I wonder if someone with Buffy's skill & striking power couldn't simply just wear him down.

Also Buffy has dodged blows from Glory and Caleb. Also Buffy is much more agile and skilled. Much more prone to use flip kicks, flying kicks, and other tricks in battle.

I see Buffy taking the clear majority: 10/10

Buffy, no doubt. She has better skills, better physicals, and her Scythe is more powerful than his blade and easily counters it. Therefore:

Haven't read a single Buffy comics, but going by show, Slade. If he has his armor though.
