clash of the titans.
broly starts in LSSJ, with 20 days prep.
in character, but whis knows broly has murdered many innocent civilisations
no intel on each others abilities.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Whis fodderizes Broly then goes back in time with Birus to show him how to REALLY bust the southern galaxy.
Yea. Shots fired. What.
@micah: pray, have a last meal, hide a cyanide capsule in a fake tooth, write his will, say goodbye to his dad, then start knocking out his bucket list until the fight starts.

Or just find a way to get the Dragon Balls...
@thelocust619: Sounds about right.
@the_caped_crusader: "Or just find a way to get the Dragon Balls..."
-no, no, that's just crazy. I mean, how could a pair of panties help him here?
Lol jokes aside, he has no knowledge of them and anything he does can be undone by Whis's time powers. The only logical thing he can do with his prep is...basically what I already said lol. The sad part is I was sorta being serious: He's got 20 hours to get right with God...er...Kami. Or Yamma. Or Supreme Kai...I'm actually not really sure who's in charge here. Probably Whis lol.
Speaking of...does anyone know wtf the difference between Whis and King Kai is (in terms if godhood)? We've gone through like 3 tiers of gods now (kami level, Kai level, now Whis level), to the point where the word "god" just sorta loses meaning. That's why I can't understand why people are like "durr but he's a god!". Well congrats. So is a quarter of the DBZ side characters. Wtf even constitutes as "godhood" in the dbz universe? Lol
@theclassicion: Is this some sort of joke ?
I guess it is, and not the best one. He could just as well created a battle between teen Krillin and Whis... Whis would not even see the difference...

it already lost significance on the king piccolo arc of dragonball
king kai governs everyone while whis supervises beerus the destroyer. beerus is the direct opposite of the kais and supreme kais. in relativity, beerus is no different from buu but with the former allowed to do his destruction.
@thelocust619: Every inhabited planet has its own God or guardian. That's what Kami is, and later Dende. King Kai, or more appropriately, Northern Kai, is responsible for supervising over the northern half of the universe, and his counterparts watch over the south, east, and west obviously. Then the Supreme Kai is the highest ranking right next to Beerus. The Supreme Kai is obviously much physically weaker than Beerus, but that's because they have different jobs. Supreme Kai creates while Beerus destroys. Their rank is equal. Whis is just the attendant to the God of Destruction, and is responsible for training him to make sure he's the strongest in the universe.
At first I was thinking Whis... But then you gave Broly prep.
broly with prep = 20 days of broly remembering baby goku's cries.
@kyrees: "king kai governs everyone while whis supervises beerus the destroyer. beerus is the direct opposite of the kais and supreme kais. in relativity, beerus is no different from buu but with the former allowed to do his destruction."
-I thought Whis was Birus's opposite, and the Kais have almost nothing to do with them? Regardless, I was referring more to what constitutes the state of being a god lol it's properties seem to change with each tier:
Kami and Guru are just alien sages who can TP the afterlife, more like prophets than actual Gods. The Kai's status has zero to do with their ki, as many non-gods eclipse them, but Birus and Whis's status apparently has everything to do with their ki. Both the Kai's and BOG antagonists are gods, but the reasoning behind it is wishy washy.
It doesn't even have to do with whether they are fundemental to the universe or not, as Kami is just an alien sage with TP and SSG seemingly has nothing at all to do with providing any sort of fundemental service to the universe. Even the Kais are basically just space wizards, and Buu is basically a space genie.
Birus and Whis are the first gods in DBZ to be both fundemental to the universe as a whole and differentiated from other life by the makeup of their ki, but by now the meaning of the word "god" in dbz is so tarnished it's hard to see Birus and Whis as anything more than "strong cat guy" and "strong time guy". The only thing that makes them remotely godlike, in a realistic sense, is Whis's time hax, which apparently works like a universal undo button. Even King Yamma's role is more god-like than the Kai's and Kami, IMO.
@nickzambuto: Wait, so the Supreme Kai ranks equal to Birus? I thought he was above them.. But I understand their (the kais) function in their universal society, but as you put it, they are guardians, not really gods in any way. I was sorta just randomly wondering why anyone would emphasize Birus and Whis's godhood when there's no clear definition of what it even means in the DBZU. It is completely off topic, though.
@thelocust619: Well with Beerus and Whis being a god ita actually more than just a title since god ki is a natural advantage over regular ki.
@thelocust619: kami and guru were considered dieties because of the dragonballs. the kais and supreme kais are also powerful, it's just the z-fighters and their enemies are more powerful. the average kai is at least beyond nappa and supreme kais are at least beyond freeza. beerus as the destroyer needs to have such powerful ki to be able to follow his objectives and whis attending to beerus would need to have a powerful ki to be able to handle him accordingly.
the kai and supreme kais basically oversee and protect the current universe and they are least responsible on sowing life on the universe though they haven't shown it. all dragonball has shown is the offensive side of the ki and ki itself has many more applications even in real life.
