Actually Brolly only got beaten by a plot-device punch with the power of all the other Z-fighters. It's a very, very, very stupid plot-device. It was only done because nothing else could work. The writers realized too late that they made Brolly too powerful so had to use a retarded plot-device in order to stop him.

Don't quote me on this(as I'm not even sure it's true), but I recall reading somewhere Toriyama said his punches had the potential to bust planets.

This question is too hard to answer, honestly though, IMO I think Goku could kill Superman. I'm going with Broly on this but I don't have any way of backing it up though lol....Except for the fact that I think most DBZ characters would own Superman. As far as pure strength... I have no idea though... still going with Broly though. :)

@calebhara: Not saying Superman wouldn't win, just saying Broly isn't as physically weak as some people think O:(though I'm not sure if what I posted is even true, just thought I heard it somewhere)

Broly's power (which translates to physical strength in DBZ) is always increasing so unless Superman can make Broly's arm hit the table (what are they arm-wrestling on anyway?) instantly Broly is only gonna get stronger as time goes on.

New 52 Superman benched the entire weight of the Earth for 5 days straight without exposure to sunlight, even with massive power scaling, Broly are going to loose his own arm the first second the fight. Not only that, if the worst come to worst, Superman might accidentally crush Broly's fist like a grape while trying to make a hold.

@angryhulks: Yeah, but we really don't know how strong Broly is though as far as pure strength.

@cinareyes44: You need to stop bump DBZ battle threads. There is a thread at the top of page 1 of the battle forums that clearly says "DBZ threads are banned." Bumping already existing ones does not change that.
