which one is better at taking over the other's systems?  I know Ultron was able to take control of the Phalanx single-handedly.  What has brainiac done on that scale?

1.Brainiac is most likely smarter..his name is Brainiac.There is now real way to tell with these two though.

2.Ultron is harder to defeat.Superman has solo'd Brainiac.To my knowledge the only person that ever solo'd Ultron is the Vision and he almost beat the classic Avengers in his first appearence.

3.They both continuously come back in new forms so you can't really say who's harded to get rid off.

4.Ultron is stronger..no question.

5.Ultron is made of adamantium and now has forcefields and stuff like that so I would say he's more durable.

6.Ultron is the most dangerous with prep...he had alot to do with some Avengers turning up missing during Avengers Disassembled.

Maybe the "Brain" part is makin me a little biased. I really think that Braniac is smarter because of the fact that he almost took over the universe. He's created time traveling devices. He shrunk Kandor. The things Braniac has done seem prove that he is smarter. Also, Ultron's Adamantium armor isn't completely invulnerable. His armor can be destroyed by molecular rearrangement devices.

Don't know about that bro. Didn't he have a war with Kang that destroyed the time-stream?, and the whole Phalanx situation in which he apparently shifted a galaxy?, aaaaaand I just recently learned he took over Titan and subjugated the Eternals.
