Braniac solos with 3 months prep. He's smarter than Thanos, one of the few characters that are IMO.

I wouldn't give Thanos a day of prep, let alone 3 months against anyone.... Thanos is far too cunning, far too powerful, and far too imaginative... Brainiac is not on Thanos' level of intellect very few, if anyone really, truly is. His brutish nature, and over confidence is what does him in when he obtains his god hood, but the fact he's gotten there as many times as he has, proves more points than needed... I don't think Brainiac ever destroyed an universe and brought everything back.

Braniac when portrayed correctly is always a universal threat.
At his best, he's a multiversal threat.
While Thanos has been as well, the only difference is that Braniac does it with his own intelligence, rather than relying on some powerful deus ex machina.
I'll go with the team. I would maybe even say that Brainiac Solos. 3 months prep is alot, Thanos is a prep master too, but not on Braniac's lvl.
Braniac & Thanos are both universal or multiversal threats, the only diffrence us that Brainiac becomes the threat thanks to his intelect, inteligence while Thanos needs Infinity Gauntlet or things like that to become one
@xbleeding_edgex: I actually think Hank Pym, Red Richards and Victor Doom is smarter than Thanos, they shown better creations that they made themselves.
Hank made Ultron who once overpowered the Avengers.
Reed made a suit that stood up to Galactus.
Victor made an army of bots that obeys his order.
Thanos usually gathers artifacts like Infinity Gauntlet and Cosmic Cube which doesn't take too much intelligence. I'm not sure if Brainiac solo's this but together i am pretty sure they can make it.
