Telos isn't a version of Brainiac,but instead a alien killed by Brainiac, whose essence was mixed to the planet know as Telos (so he's basically an avatar of the planet). He isn't even in the same power levels of Silver Surfer level,besides controlling the planet e and some robots, he has done nothing special that makes him a match to Silver Surfer.

@matchesmalone21: Telos isn't dead. He's alive and well. In addition, he called himself Brainiac when he first met supes, and he has taken cities like the original Brainiac.

He's also restrained parallax, killed injustice superman, was soloing the earth 2 justice League, nullified the powers of variations of justice Leagues, bent brother eye to his will, took on deimos and his army (which included a superman, a wonder woman, a Shazam, and a bunch of others I don't recognize) by himself etc.

In Convergence 0 ''Telos'' implied that it is an artificial intelligence that is fused to the planet and is compelled to finish the work of his master (since Brainiac is missed in Future's End timeline), ie, capture cities through the timestream before its destruction.

Before becoming a artificial intelligence, ''Telos'' was from another planet which was invaded by Brainiac. ''Telos'' was blackmailed by Brainiac to become his servant in exchange for the safety of his family,then it was turned into an artificial intelligence....then that Telos has died.

1. ''Telos'' didn't soloed Eath 2's Society,jut used the nanites to arrest them. Superman and Green Lantern hold their own against coming even to hurt him,when Alan Scott tap with planet's core and hit ''Telos'' with that energy.
2. Parallax (Hal Jordan) wasn't even fighting him or trying to break free.
3. '' Telos'' didn't depower anyone. Since the heroes and villains are inside the dome their powers are nullified due to Brainiac's technology.
4. Deimos defeated him twice and had no difficulty to break free from his grip.
5. Actually Brother Eye wasn't there, only a few Justice League cyborgs appeared and they are nothing but an extension of it.
6. Yes. He killed Injustice Superman.

Deimons's army (the ones I could identify) are Crime Sindicate of Amerika (Pre-Crisis/Silver Age),Deathstroke and Ocean Master (Pre-Flashpoint),Captain Marvel and Superman (Earth 22 Kingdom Come),Ocean Master.Wonder Woman and Aquaman (Flashpoint)
