I've seen threads where Braniac makes a fool out of Apocalypse.....i have seen threads where Darkseid and Thanos stalemate.......this leads me to believe that Apocalypse would be taken out first ........ then the two would tag team....wait....hold on *rereads the OP* oh.....one week of prep.........................
With one week prep, Thanos could just get the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos solos.

Or it might be redundant as thanos tech is already way out there.

But that would make Apocalypse the weak link, and since any one here can trash him with or without prep.....It would come down to Braniac and Darkseid vs Thanos with Apocalypes's tech which he could only do so much with by him self, it wouldn't be enough to deal with Apokoliptian tech and Kryptonian tech by himself ....
Apoc tends to have very very bad writers behind him, plus Marvel tends to mistreat their villains. All that he can do ( on paper) should put him in Manhunters league, but marvel, keeps him just above a spider-man villain
why do you made a handicap 2 vs 1 match against thanos? although thanos is the number 1 prep god in comic, darkseid and brainiac are no slouch either. but if thanos is allowed to prep his IG, he wins, and apocalypse will just be celebrating in the background.
if IG not allowed, then team 1 probably wins since apocalypse is practically useless against cosmic level beings. then no matter how i see it, without outside help, battle will start and minutes later, it will be 2 on 1 against thanos
Now while it seems getting the gems themselves isn't too hard given a normal human was able to gather than in less than a week, it's silly to assume Thanos will immediately go for the gauntlet. It wouldn't be much of a fun thread if Thanos is running around with the power to knock Multi-Eternity around in a slugfest.
Now what comes to mind, how strong is current Darkseid?
This is a bit off topic but I hope someday in a free for all I could add my comic book villain to this fight and make things so much more interesting. Now with a week of Prep Braniac wins because he could already have at least a thousand outcomes planned out constantly improving until the plan is near perfection and this is within the first day if not hour.
The Infinity Gauntlet is useless on Apokalips/DC Universe.
It's so sad to see that Apocalypse has such a pathetic reputation. Especially given what he's capable of and the potential of his powers. Damn Marvel for consistently writing him to be a lame jobber. Because at his potential, he could easily be on the level of Thanos and Darkseid in terms of brute power and skill.
With a weeks prep, this would be an all out WAR. Apocalypse would create a vast clone army of mutants, and Darkseid would prepare all the forces of Apokalips for battle.
So essentially, this fight most likely ends when one side or the other sets off a super weapon, rather than in direct physical competition. In that case, it's a toss up.
As for a physical contest alone... Apocalypse > Brainiac, Darkseid =/= Thanos.
