Borg Cube
VS
The Lexx
To the death. They start 100 km apart.
The Borg Beam Stan to their ship, assimilate him, command him to give them the key, command the ship to stand down while the try to figure out how the assimilate it, or just blow it up. =P
haha the Lexx? I vaguely remember watching a marathon when I was younger and being incredibly confused.

Remember Lexx's main weapon is powerful enough to blow up entire planets, even from pretty long distances. Here Lexx blows up Pluto from its position near Earth. The shot only takes around 14 seconds and completely destroys the planet.
@WillPayton: Yeah, maybe. Those S.T. ships are pretty maneuverable, but I don't recall the last time Borg actually dodged a blast...lol

Right, that's what I was trying to get at. If the energy blast took only 14 seconds to get from Earth to Pluto, it would hit a ship 100km away practically instantaneously. There's just no way to avoid it. The real question is, could the Borg shields withstand it?
BTW I did a quick calculation of how fast the Lexx's energy blast would take to hit the Borg cube, based on the linked scene.
It would reach the cube in approximately 0.3 microseconds. So yeah, I dont see them dodging that. =)

What the heck is the Lexx?

It's a giant spaceship that's the most powerful weapon in it's universe. It's main weapon has the power to destroy entire planets with a single shot.
Talk about a skeleton crew for such a large ship

In their first appearance the Borg's shields couldn't even protect them from the weapons of the Enterprise. The Borg don't adapt to something until after they've been hit by it, or if they manage to get detailed information beforehand on exactly how the weapon works, which seems a little unlikely here (they might not even be able to readily interface with whatever it is Lexx uses as a computer). And as you've pointed out, at only 100 km, they have basically zero time to take any kind of defensive action. The situation is just completely stacked against them.
I'd like to say the LEXX would win with one shot. However, assuming the LEXX and its crew behave according to the constraints imposed upon them by the fictional universe in which they were created, one of the following is more likely to occur:
1. Pointless arguing between Captain Stanley, Xev and Kai as to whether or not it is morally right to blow something away would cause enough of a delay for the Borg to come up with a counter plan to board and assimilate them.
2. Stanley sees a beautiful borg woman when he hails the cube and lets his genitals do the thinking, again leading to the same outcome.
3. They fire and miss because the rules of the LEXX universe state that "9. No one shall ever defeat an enemy because they are good shots and the enemy are bad shots."
The least likely outcome is: Captain Stan instantly recognizes the threat and takes action, ordering the LEXX to fire at the Borg cube.
