The true probably is but they have never fought before. Neither have Hulk and Superman so you are still trying to connect dots based on ABC logic which normally doesnt work.

Marvel Database at the end of the day is wiki and is not official, sadly. The official site is actually called Marvunapp which works hand in hand with Marvel Handbook.

Its not the Handbook entry though, Blue Marvel lacks feats to suggest he can take on Darkseid.

Sort of like what you are doing. A wins B, B wins C, C wins D, therefor A wins against D sort of thing. Just because Blue Marvel is likely on same league as Hulk and Sentry, doesnt automatically mean he can fight Darkseid, specially given more often than not Darkseid is shown superior to Superman.

Why not? His powers are rather unteasted and feats rather subsumed. He also has no answer to being BFRed by Darkseid and honestly Darkseid is likely stronger than him.

The only thing that would likely give Blue Marvel any sort of edge would be speed, something he has barely demonstrated in a fight.

According to BM's creator he was designed to go up and possibly beat anyone from Thanos to Thor to Supes to Darkseid but he could also lose to them depending on the conditions. We talked about it on FB.

The beams can actually be tanked and/or blocked. Superman has done it more than once. Doomsday and Cyborg Superman also survived a hit. Mary Marvel has blocked them. They've also been blocked by the Entropy Aegis and Wonder Woman's bracelets. Whether or not Blue Marvel actually has enough durability to reasonably survive, I have no idea, I've never seen the character before, but it is theoretically possible.

No, You don't as freefa11 said. Plus Superman blocked them with his heat vision, so BM can do the same with anti-matter beams.

Reasons?

Hardly an example as Darkseid would also defeat King Hyperion. While Darkseid has gotten the better of Superman numerous of times, who is more powerful than King Hyperion.

Hyperion-712 has better feats than Superman. KH pretty much beat two Hyperions, after some Namor-type girl broke his neck and Mimic attacked him in Colossus-type body with 1/2 speed of light.

I don't see how Superman is better than KH or H-712.

I'd see Darkseid winning it.

It'd be tough though.

Depends how You look at it. But considering that You've put DS above Supe, because of Supe's feat, I don't see why You shouldn't do the same because of KH's and H-712 feats (planet level). Plus BM is above Supe considering as a fact Watcher's words.

Um, no DD was certainly not turned to ash. He got knocked over and buried in some rubble for a few seconds. I really have never understood how apparently a number of people could read Hunter/Prey and somehow come to the conclusion that DD was killed to any extent, let alone turned to ash (or vaporized or however else it gets phrased from person to person).

Superman's encounters with Darkseid are generally stalemates to one degree or another. Superman has actually beaten DS in a straight up fight. He's lost too. Overall, they are on a similar level; Darkseid is a bit higher, but not so much that Superman can't win on a good day.

Again though, I really don't know much about Blue Marvel, other than he has a profoundly silly name.
