Blue beetle vs spiderman - Battles

This between Jamies reyes and Peter parker. both have bug themed outfits! The blue beetles armor has all kinds of weapons and sensors. Spiderman has agility,strength, and his spidersense! Who would win and why?

I'm gonna go with Spidey.The Blue Beetle has alot of powers linked to that suit but because of Parker's intellect and experience...I think Peter can outsmart Jaime into either making a "fatal" error.Either that or Peter could go right at him...Jaime has no idea what Peter is capable of and with the Spider-Sense I would assume he could avoid getting hit most of the time.

Seriously, though, I think at the end of the day Spidey picks it up. Blue Beetle/Booster Gold are fantastic characters, but at the end of the day they are B-listers. Whereas Spider-Man is an enigma in terms of the lists. But, he could take an A-lister, no sweat.

Obviously not, since about half are for Spider-Man and half are for Blue Beetle.

The guy has all sorts of things he can do, and a battle computer inside there to control things, like making an energy shield with a surprise. You see him saying "good idea" and then the machine just activates the suggestion he already had planned out.

I'm still going to go with Spider-Man. The only reason BB put up the field is cause he figured Bart would phase through it and then get shocked. Spidey wouldn't try to phase through so field like that, and even if he did his Spider-Sense would go off before touching it.

Blue Beetle, his scarab gives him information/strategies/resources to know how to beat everyone, he has been shown to be able to have the resources to damage the spectre, something Spider-man couldn't even imagine

Who said he could damage the Spectre? I saw talk about it in the Iron Man vs Blue Beetle thread, but after reading Buck's post, it sounds like the Scarab only made suggestion about a plan of action. It didn't say how effective it would actually be.

Some of its plans did include city-destroying attacks though and I think it's safe to say something at that level would stop Spider-Man.

Maybe, but has BB ever used any of these takes or has the Scarab just suggested them. Cause I've seen BB getting his but kicked, but never pull out one of these city destroying attacks. I just don't see him doing it to take out one person.

He hasn't used them because he doesn't want to kill everyone, but he could. If he loses control (like if Spider-Man knocks him out or something), the scarab might take over and obliterate him without Jaime there to hold him back. He doesn't have to destroy the city to beat Spider-Man though. Spider-Man can't really hurt him (he can fly pretty fast, the scarab has acted like a spider sense, and if he does get hit, he's very durable even before he grows more armor or puts up force fields) so all he has to do is hit him. With the various ways he can attack that shouldn't be hard. The simplest would just be blasts of energy that are too big for Spider-Man to avoid or huge energy nets that cover a wide area and then constrict, trapping Spider-Man inside.

This is a curbstomp for Blue Beetle. He's at a level with the better Lanterns IMO (they certainly don't like the scarab on Oa) and could easily defend against Spidey's attacks and, even while holding back, unleash enough firepower to bring down the wallcrawler. Not holding back, as was mentioned, there is a possibility he could take on Spectre level threats.

Ok, I've been going by what I've seen and he hasn't been able to do much, compared to the rest of the Titans. But I'll believe you if you say he can do all that.

The scarab was made to take over worlds and it fights evenly against Green Lanterns and Manhunters when not holding back. Should give you a clue about its power. The only question is how Jamie uses it.

Agree. But I have a question if the scarab was made to take over worlds won't Lex Luthor or someone else what to get their hand's on it on doe's it only work for Jamie.

@d3stiny: I'm a Spider-Man fan as well, but from what I have seen of BB, I don't see Parker winning. I don't think it would be easy for BB to hit Spidey, but he'll win eventually.
