Bloodshot/Deathstroke vs Deadpool/Wolverine

The Battle of the Healing Factors!

Rules

• Victory by KO, incapacitation, or death. For this fight, something like a heart stab that takes one of them out for a prolonged period of time counts as a KO. We all know all these guys are near impossible to kill.
• ALL blades are adamantium for this fight.
• Bloodshot has a machete, combat knife, 1 frag grenade, 1 flashbang grenade, 2 .45 pistols, and an M249 machine gun (as pictured). 249 has one belt of 100 rounds, each pistol has 3 magazines of 11 rounds.
• Deathstroke has his sword, M4 assault rifle, 2 frag grenades, and 2 .45 pistols. M4 has 3 mags of 30 rounds, each pistol has 3 mags of 11 rounds.
• Deadpool has two katanas, 2 .45 pistols, 2 frag grenades. Each pistol has 5 mags of 11 rounds.
• Wolverine is Pre-Cornell.
• Combatants are familiar with each other (for teamwork purposes) and with their enemies.
• Battle takes place in Times Square
• Deadpool/Logan start at red X, Bloodshot/Deathstroke start at blue X. There are cars, but no civilians. Buildings, indoors, subways, sewers...they are allowed to move anywhere to win.

Round 1

• Deathstroke is composite (Pre-and-New-52 feats apply).
• Logan has adamantium skeleton

Round 2

• Deathstroke is New 52 only.
• Logan has no adamantium skeleton, but still has his adamantium claws.

If the match is imbalanced I apologize and will take any creative changes into consideration.

Does Deathstroke have his Nth metal armor? I ask because I'm not clear if he still has it.

Team 2.

Team 2, Bloodshot(Current) is nowhere as skilled as these other guys. Team 1 will find team 2 first and could get the drop on them due to the fact Bloodshot could track their position by hacking into the street cameras. Even when Bloodshot uses his sonic scream, that's not enough to take down Deadpool or Wolverine.

I recently read Bloodshot 1-17. Plus his appearances in Armor Hunter/Unity.....he really isn't that impressive.

For purposes of this let's assume he does. I haven't started his new series.

I'll wait and see if someone can make a case for bloodshot. My initial thoughts are he is the weak link.

Bloodshot is the weak link. He's like, a ton above Deadpool and Wolverine in strength, about as durable and fast, but not nearly as skilled as them...

I'll back wolverine in a fight 99/100 against Deathstroke, unless cornellverine. Just don't think they match up. As stated, bloodshot doesn't have quite enough feats to take some as skilled or popular as deadpool, give him a year or so.

Going with Wolverine and DP. Bloodshot has limitations on his healing factor that will be exploited sooner rather then later when facing Wolverine.Wolverine also can't be dismembered or beheaded. Deathstroke isn't taking both Wolverine and DP..*

It's a nice fight to watch, but I don't think the results are ever in question.

Except being able to beat him in a fight. Wolverine is better in that area.

Even if Bloodshot's a weak link, he still affects the outcome of the fight.

HF- Logan has a massively better healing factor

Durability- Adamantium is more durable than Nth metal

Fighting Skill- Logan is extremely skilled, it just isn't shown often

Cutting Power- Adamantium is stronger than Promethium too

Speed- Both are bullet timers

Strength- This goes to Slade, but not by much

Overall, Logan stomps

Deathstroke took on the JLA, 2 times I believe. He could do it again with the X-Men.

@mortal: The JLA is a different threat altogether from Logan, and there are far different circumstances involved, as well a bit of poor writing and different character incarnations thrown into the mix. You're going to need to do a hell of a lot better than name dropping the infamous "Deathstroke fought the JLA" to convince anyone that he outclasses Logan.

But what weapons does Logan have other than his claws?

@mortal: The better question is; what weapons does Deathstroke bring to a fight that will make a large enough difference? In most scenarios, when he isn't bringing his PIS JL bomb, he's not packing enough firepower to substantially damage or distract Logan for the win.

Team 2. I still don't think current Deathstroke is all that skill/speed wise.

@i_like_swords: Slade can use 90% of his brain. Doesn't this give him a major advantage over Logan?

Unfortunately Hugh Jackman (Wolverine actor) has developed Skin Cancer. I guess he would really want to be Wolverine with his healing factor now.

Bloodshot has a lot more to offer than I think everyone's giving him credit.

1 - His Nanites can be used as a weapon. I'm not saying they'll kill either opponent here but they can make them significantly more vulnerable. As with big boy in the hard corps vs PRS series, also during the Harada Protocol.

I'm sure Slade can appreciate that type of teammate and this particular skill.

2 - Synaptic Burst hasn't been used often, however, that does not mean it could not be used here.

Again another way Bloodshot doesn't necessarily need to use his strength advantage in the fight.

3 - In his latest showing he's taken on a small army of super soldiers albeit a more archaic form and even though he was being shot up like Swiss cheese was able to overpower most of them. For the rest he overloaded the mainframe and sent current through the rest of the soldiers bodies to melt them down into a puddle(s) of goo.

Wolverine is a giant conductor with his adamantium skeleton. If Bloodshot can find a large enough power source he could do something very similar. I doubt it would keep him down for long but Logan would be in trouble for a while.

Feats for Bloodshot?

@patrat18: Many of his feats come from tanking shots, explosions, or what have you. He has quite a few unique skills but...

He has gone toe to toe with Obidiah Archer arguably the best hand to hand fighter out there. Even capturing him after taking a 12 gauge shot to the chest at point blank range wearing a smedium t-shirt for protection.

He has fought h2h Armstrong to a stalemate.

Bloodshot has taken down Toyo Harada and should have killed him if not for endorphins rushing his brain making him too delusional to finish the job. He used synaptic burst which brought Toyo to the ground emptied a good bit of Nanites into his system and had him momentarily incapacitated.

He also out lasted a meta who had the ability to know what moves he would throw at her before he moved. All while killing big boy with engineered super strength. Again Nanite infection.

He destroyed Chainsaw, cyborg soldiers with an awesome arsenal. Ripped one of their heads off, spine included (metal skeleton), and also killing another by stabbing him with an exposed piece of Bloodshots arm bone.

@patrat18: Also overloaded his Nanites from the surrounding power to put a charge into a metal rod when fighting Malgam in Armor Hunters.

But still his best feats are getting blown up by a missile and recovering to almost full strength. Taking acid to the face, Armor Hunters, getting face blown off by Toyo. And being hit with just about every round ever made, getting up and coming back for more,

@theendgame: What about having his head cut off? How good is his reaction speed? Cause Wolverine or Deapool would decapitate him.

Maybe. From what I have read I don't know if I can make a case for bloodshot lasting long. But I can see potential for Slade to have a split with wolverine under these circumstances. If deadpool weren't here bloodshot could stay back and shoot at wolverine, run some interference. Wolverine can take a lot of damage soak but he has limits. Likewise they begin pretty far apart and Slade a solid shot, so by the time Logan gets close he will have taken quite a bit of damage.

@patrat18: That's a tough one. Bloodshot took a bullet to the head in his last issue. His brains were blown out everywhere. He got up and still managed to beat a small militia of enhanced soldiers. I Think it depends on how much damage he has already taken. Unlike Deadpool or Wolverine his healing factor is based more on reality (even if it is far fetched) and needs proteins to rebuild. He has had the flesh completely burned off his body and his brains blown out several times. The latter use to signal a type of reset but after his latest showing it looks like he can keep going even after that type of trauma.

Reaction speed seems to be pretty good especially in his match against Archer. He also looked really good in Armor Hunters. He does however tank shots he probably doesn't need to. In which case will wear him down faster.

As literally everyone is calling Bloodshot a weak link, I have decided to post some scans of the current Bloodshot's feats....

Both these scans suggest that he is easily able to handle multiple opponents AND he doesn't hesitate to kill. In this fight, his healing factor would come into play as well. THOUGH TEAM 2 STILL WINS DUE TO DEADPOOL.....

@classicknight: They're both front covers which we don't usually count as feats plus the first one is from his older series so it's not really current. Here's a respect thread for him.

As for the battle, team 2 should win. Wolverine could take down Bloodshot pretty quickly considering he's quite a lot faster and his claws mean he can simply slice his opponent's head off. Logan can then go on to defeat Deathstroke with Deadpool.

Excuse me sorry I know this is off topic. Does Deathstroke have any immunity to telepathic attacks???
