Why do people make threads putting characters for really stupidly styled comic/animes against more serious ones.

The simple fact that this dude knows about the Kame-hame-ha is a clear sign the manga has an outrageous focus on being comical.

D: Don't hate on Blood Lad, it's hilarious. However, I understand what you mean. Blood Lad isn't toon force or anything though, it's similar to One Piece or Fairy Tail, where it has a ton of funny moments, but it can be serious too. The series has a lot of humor in it, and it doesn't take itself too seriously, that's true. But, it's also a perfectly valid series to use characters from, just like other gag mangas.

@dratini1331: I'm not trying to hate. I'm just sure that with this being a humor based manga, it's not a fair match up. The feats are either going to be wildly inconsistent or over the top for no reason and that puts any serious styled character at a major disadvantage unless you start picking really top tier characters. However, just above I think he was put though several buildings???? What the heck is that about?

I can post feats for Blade Later, but at the very least, I'd need to know some feats for this guy.

@bossmonster: Staz has high level TK and super strength due to him being a vampire. However, because of his powerful TK, his body couldn't handle it as a child, so his brother sealed his powers away. That was him after having his powers unsealed, which is several times stronger than he was before.

"Blood Lad" is sort of like One Piece. You can use it just fine if you leave out the random things that are clearly for humor or what not, like him doing kamehameha is a joke, but most of his actual fights are pretty serious stuff.

I'm sorry man, normally I'm always down to debate for Blade. He's one of my top 10 of all time. But this is just really lopsided. I can't take this seriously with Attack names like "The Chou Chou drain" and what I mean by that is, there is too much lets be over the top and funny for the feats to be comparable.

I'll just say feat for feat, Blade can't win this. The dude is too over the top. This is just where western and eastern humor/entertainment styles differ.
