That comment was from quite a few years ago...It is possible his opinion has changed. Also if your going to call him wrong you may want tell exactly why he is wrong.
@Static Shock: @jashro44: @darktiger: In the comic BP would win. But for forum rules we are supposed to imagine them fighting numerous times and going by who we think wins the most. Even if BP uses a "unpredictable" style that TM can't copy, TM has shown that he can use multiple styles at once to overcome that. Just because he can't master your style does not mean he can't use other styles to beat you. TM can beat current BP. But Classic BP??? I still don't know. Wondering if any of you have changed your mind or confirmed a winner.
@pooty: In the comic books, Black Panther already won. He defeated Tasky in one shot.
Anyway, I'm not worried about current Black Panther, I'm going with the classic one, because of the time this thread was made. I still think T'Challa can take a win.
@t_j__magnum: this list of people that you just said has been taking down by black panther lol..... Also not to mention task master isn't the great tactician that bp is and he can't duplicate everyone strength so bp wins this battle.
Depends on if they're geared. I could definitely see a KotD Black Panther take this fight via teleporting in close-range before Taskmaster could react and stabbing him with his Energy daggers. If it was pure H2H, I could see it being very close. Black Panther doesn't have Taskmaster's move copying abilities, but he outclasses Taskmaster in intelligence by far. That being said, Taskmaster is stated to have copied Panther's fighting style, as well as a plethora of others. I feel like he shouldn't lose to most street levelers/characters who fight H2H. At the very least, he should put up an extremely good fight against them or beat them.
Why? Black Panther is sporting a similar level of fighting skill along with being the all around physically superior specimen, and having the better arsenal of tech.

All though in regards to the black panther one shotting taskmaster he may not have been one shotted. He was seen later in civil war getting taken down by Sue. Its possible black panther took him down briefly but its hard to say for sure.
Black Panther takes this after he realizes,"hold on for a second. Moon Knight beat Taskmaster. I would kick Moon Knights ass. Now I will proceed to stab Taskmaster in the eye sockets with vibranium daggers." And then he does.
@jashro44: He mentioned he was about to shatter every bone in his body if he kept moving like that, however, he did move for a prolonged time. He also mentioned he could also pass out from exhaustion because he lost a lot of blood before fighting. If anything, he doesn't need to fight at those speeds all the time, he could simply block and move for almost instant periods of time to keep up the pressure, allowing him to use it plenty of times without putting his body at risk.
@wolverine08 Yeah... You trolls! And i don't see this fight as one sided as people may think... Taskmaster can even predict movements by stance alone, in other words, the foe doesn't even need to move for Taskmaster to subconsciously move in counter.

The instance is canon, and it's very hard to determine what's in character for him or not since he has the widest concentration of multiple techniques you'll find in a Street Leveler. He has styles he's only used once, but they're there anyways and are useful as far as making a case goes. What i can positively say about Taskmaster is that he likes to counter people by determining weaknesses in their styles just as consistently as using their styles to beat them.

All right. However in regards to taskmaster using different styles to counter an enemy to find a weakness black panther did beat a super skrull with his own skills and the skills of others and he even made a comment about how he was training his whole life for that moment IIRC. Yet black panther still beat him.
Granted the skrull did have the limitation of using one style at a time but the major point is black panther has countered someone with his own style and a few more who was tasked to take him out so I don't think finding a weakness in black panthers style would be easy (not saying there are no weakness or that you said it would be easy).
