I kind of got that impression. You should expand your viewpoint and get to know Black Panther. I admit I'm biased towards him, but at the same time I know I have quite a bit of knowledge of both characters to support my opinion. I doubt reading up on BP will change your mind much, but beyond this conversation, it's worth your time. He's a compelling character and great when handled well.

There is no doubt in my mind T'Challa can negate the spider sense. I find it unlikely that in one day's time he can use it against Peter in the manner Stark did. I simply don't think with Peter's drastically improved H2H skills that removing the spider sense grants him an automatic victory. @Buckshot I will do so, it's just a matter of time. I haven't been reading comics all that long, so there's a lot of catching up to do. Any suggestions on a good starting point?

Did not see this response. I know I said several times that manipulation of the spider sense to the extent that Stark did it, is unnecessary, as proven by Daken, not to mention any other instances of Parker getting tagged easily when his spider sense has been disrupted. And again, that's still the absolute worse case scenario, if you assume BP can't duplicate Stark's feat on his own or simply appropriate the information needed to do so from Stark or another source (jashro provided info that makes both of those options look even more likely than I had considered them at the start).

Priest's run on BP is what got me into the character so I'd just say start there.

Well Ian not sure about this fight Spidey can lift 10 tons but Black Panther it very smart well Peter is to but compared to Panther not so much but I am leaning towards Spidey

Black Panther may be able to match Spider-Man in Strength now, he beat up Black Dwarf by himself, although it was off-panel for some reason

@dondave: we don't know what happened. It happened off panel as you said, and black panther stated he thought he broke his hand punching black dwarf. He also states he probably would have lost to black dwarf. For all we know black dwarf was hit with a energy dagger.

@nelomaxwell: new avengers #9. It happens off panel though.

New Avengers #9. The only problem is that their fight is not shown at all. Only their first clash and then Black Dwarf leaving after being defeated.

With prep I'm going with BP as well. Random encounter I'd still favor Spidey. Especially SpOc.

Black Dwarf looked like a bloody mess there and Panther didn't look too bad though he would've beat him.

Yea but Black Panther admits he probably wouldn't have won. We honestly don't know how black dwarf ended up like that. Wakanda was being invaded at the time, it is possible he was hit with some other weapon.

He admits that if he would've continued. From the way he spoke it seemed like it was just the two of them fighting. But you're right there's no way know what happened, but I think we can agree that they engaged each other.

Giving him one day of prep is overkill. I'm fairly certain that in a random encounter BP would give Pete a hell of a time (despite Spidey's physical superiority).

Bump. I'd like to get a better feel for what people think about a non prepped fight. I still take Panther btw.

T Challa wins. The fact is that superior resources and a high IQ, along with superior strategy is hard to outclass. Not to mention imposing physique.
