When? there last fight iron fist had knowledge of the location, used traps, and had to exploit him and Peters friendship and Peter still had the upper hand and landed more strikes...:

@jashro44: he punched him, dodged his webbing, landed a nerve pinch on him, kicked him etc....Shows he has the ability to go toe to toe with him.

(And Peter didn't land more strikes, I counted 2 significant strikes).

He punched him once because he used traps, he used a nerve pinch by exploiting their friendship, the kick happened because of the nerve pinch so that falls in the same category.....

All in all Danny didn't do too well in this encounter IMO. Could he do better? Sure.

@jashro44: Danny landed more strikes, and a nerve pinch. The reasons you provided to such as using friendship etc, it matters not. Specifically with Spider-Man due to his Spideysense.

Spider-sense can be thrown off if spider-man gets is caught in deep thought....Which is what Danny did in that moment. Peter was thinking if he should continue the fight or not or listen to his friend.

And yes it does matter. Context always matters....

ironfist has the worst costume in comics. they lose just because of that.

@jashro44: I'm not buying that explanation, if Danny was able to do that to Spidey, I don't see why he wouldn't try it again. Danny got more hits that fight, and was tactically in the lead. Yet you try and say it wasn't a good showing for him.

Have more examples of people bypassing Spideysense in that manner?

@monsterstomp: No. He can stall and defeat one 1v1 but with Ollies backup i dont think so. Spiderman can 2v1 anyone in my opinion. Webs and agility make him the perfect team buster

Because spider-man isn't going to fall for the same trick twice? Because the circumstances are different here? Because Danny doesn't have the entire location rigged with traps? And no he didn't get more hits in than spider-man, and thats including all of Danny's cheap shots (Which was every hit he landed basically).

I do. SpOck has commented on this before, Peter was taken off guard by puma in there first fight because of it, etc.

Ummm, no, Iron Fist absolutely did not get more hits. Even if you count the nerve pinch and the kick as separate hits, and count the throw as a hit, which is exactly what Spider-man wanted Danny to do, they both got 4 hits.

This. And that also counting the shot he landed because spider-man had to dodge a trap....

@vegandiet: @jashro44: I missed the punch in the first scan. So he matched Peter in contact and attacking, and dodged his webbing. I still don't see how my initial statement of that being impressive is incorrect.

T'challa punched spider-man, Peter said black panthers agility is better than his own (debatable) and that was the end of the encounter.

I doubt Black Panther´s agility is better than Spider-Man´s, statements should not be trusted.

@sasukemilesmorales: iron fist was mind controlled. And I highly doubt that BP is that skilled in comparison. IF wasn't using skill as much as bloodlusted speed and power in that encounter. If you try and say BP did well and is more skilled than IF based on that fight, then you would be very mistaken.

@jashro44: I will disagree with you there, the web clearly shows to be heading towards IF, there was even two webs shot, and he is only using one on the door. I still also hold that this is still a good fight. Going blow for blow with spidey, being tactically superior to a genius like him, managing a nerve pinch via friendship manipulation, I don't see how it is a bad showing. You keep saying stuff like "he did this so he could do that" as if it diminishes the overall outcome.

The overall outcome? You mean how the fight ended with Peter punching Danny into the ground literally? And literally after Danny used his friendship, Peter came back and used the momentum of Danny's own throw against him. So no Danny wasn't tactically superior. And you're seriously ignoring Danny getting blatantly slammed into a letter?

@sasukemilesmorales: Statements should not be trusted, one should go by actual feats, and even there you need to see the context of them, and by actual feats Spider-Man is faster and more agile than Black Panther.
