@PowerHerc: I've read before that Dinah has sparred with Wonder Woman before, so I think she stands a very good chance against Cap, but I'm not sure if she'd beat him.
@pcbh168: sparring with someone doesn't automatically mean you're on the same level with them skill-wise. It could simply mean they're helping you train. Besides, I consider Black Canary to be a better fighter than WW in strictly hand-to-hand combat, so sparring with WW doesn't matter.

I've heard the same thing, and I've also heard that the crossover was referenced in a JLA book. But, I've never come across it.

I don't know, i really hope it isn't canon to the DCU, i like my two companies seperate. Also, some of the crap that happened in jla/avengers really shouldn't be canon in my opinion.

I'm curious though. I would guess Cap would win, but it would be a dragged out fight. Still, with the environment being a forest and them starting 15 feet apart, does this change their tactics a little? Hiding behind trees, climbing them for sneak attacks getting better footing away from roots, etc. would make this even more interesting, but who also has more skill or experience in that kind of environment?
@twobooks: Trying to take it to the trees would be a bad idea for BC, Cap is a much better gymnast. Also from 15 feet away nobody is going to be going to try stealth. That would be like trying to hide from someone on the other side of a living room. Cap has her beat in physical stats, mental ability, experience, strategic skills, and hand to hand skill. There is really nothing she can do here.
