Black Bolt vs Nova

Has Nova not endured a blast from Galactus that spanned several star systems? What does Black Bolt have that could overcome such strong shields?

These are some of my favorite all time characters, saying that I feel this could be my first time Draw. Both are so powerful and I do not see either backing down.

I don't see why not. Nova Primewas powerfull enough to fight with Ego and Sphinx, so why not against Vulcan? Besides, I put Annihilus with CR above Vulcan and Nova Prime won with him. It depends on which Vulcan. Vulcan with the Powers of Darwin basically had unlimited energy absorbing. Vulcan without Darwin is limited.

As for tanking. More Impressive for Galactus. Its not like Nova had to block the full power just the small amount that was focused on his position. Which is quite small considering the amount of space 3 Galaxies occupies. Now if Nova had blocked the concentrated power of 3 Galaxies fired onto his position that would be amazing.

Let's not forget that BB has a ton of abilities beyond just his scream. He's a very skilled combatant, can amp himself physically, he has the super powerful "Master Blow" (funny) and he has shown energy and matter manipulation.

All that said, I'm not entirely sure who would win in this fight. Nova Prime is a beast as is Black Bolt.

I personally belive that we current abilities/experience, Nova without full Nova Force will defeat BB thanks to his speed (the point is that not only he is doing this, but rookies too):

He speeblitzed his enemies in less than 2 seconds.
Plus using his speed against Drax:

Owning the Serpent Society is not that impressive of feat. Its embarassing he could not one shot them all.

I like both of these characters, Black Bolt could win though. Can't his scream rip holes in reality? 

Full powered Nova should be able to take on Black Bolt...I think.

He was narrating about everything that went on during those 1.8 seconds. I think that's a good show of his speed. Also it was a hostage situation so Nova couldn't destroy everyone with one blast. More people means more control over the situation, it's called the Nova Corp for a reason. I think Nova Prime wins, he's got better feats up until his death.

Serpent Society is still filled with jokes. The only time they are relevant is when a hero fails to defeat them.

Also its not like Drax has notable superspeed.

Couldn't black Bolt lik destroy half a planet

Nova. Faster, stronger, and just more raw power.

Nova Prime tanked a Galactus blast that destroyed the Annihilation wave, without full access to the Nova Force.

Nova could tank Bolt's scream, but I'm not sure what after that? Maybe speedblitz or BFR him?

My money would be on BB, although Nova is no slouch.

Black Bolt wins , and also you can't just assume Nova's shields can withstand galaxy busting attacks. The Galactus rage we don't know how far was he to the ground zero of the explosion, and also we seen him getting hurt by countless street buster enemies

i hoep so he had all hat power and they just didnt let him use it... they had him fight surfer when he was inexperienced with that ammount of power then killed him later... he can beat surfer if he was more eperienced im 100% sure

@marlboroman: he outclasses Black Bolt in almost everything. Especially speed and durability.

Speed of light > Speed of sound.

Nova would absolutely beat Black Bolt, Worldmind would set in stone the victory.

IIRC, Richard hasn't actually ever flown by himself at or above the Speed of Light, he always uses Stargates

If Black Bolts scream hits Nova Prime it's over, but Nova's shields can tank it.
