MoS Superman does extremely well against other movie comic book characters. Against characters in comics... yeah, he can't keep up.

@norrinboltagonprime21: no, it's fine that Thanos wins, I know he's more powerful but the fact remains that BB went down TOO EASY! it was aweful writing. So based on that, BB is not really formidable in my eyes. He was just surrounded by too much hyperbole.

Man of steel can scream, great acting chops, last scene when he snapped his neck, scream was so defining, that being said. His scream never seemed to be supersonic or city destroying. His greatest durability feat was standing under the world engine weakened which destroyed huge skyscrapers in parts of the city, black bolt said "no" and it destroyed his whole base and parts of the city. Blackbolt wins, spite.

@blackdog2009: if you ask me, black bolt did unreasonably well. Thanos shouldn't have been fazed by his voice the way he was. Black bolt shouldn't be doing better against thanos than surfer.

I wouldn't entirely say comic > movie. Reeve's Superman is much more powerful than the comic version. But in MOS's case, I agree, for now...

Comic > movie. My point still stands, and it's true 99% of the time.

He is, but reversing time in the manner he did matches some Silver Age feats, he didn't just reverse time by breaking the time barrier (as seen in SA comics), he flat out did it by making The Earth spin backwards, which is dumb as hell.

Comic > movie I can agree with. But they may make the MOS Superman stronger considering which direction they go in. The World Engine feat is a start for him. MOS Superman is a match for the early Post-Crisis Superman.

I think MOS wins...I'm a big BB fan but in the movie Supes did punch through the gravity well machine....pretty strong win.

Black Bolt doesn't need his voice to one-shot Superman.
