Black Adam vs Ghost Rider

Think before you speak, and study if need be.

If Ghost Rider was out to get Black Adam I think he would win. But like in Ghost Rider WWH issue, if its just Johnny he probably wouldn't win.

Wouldn't the rider easily win this with his penance stare? Black Adam has so much to be guilty for.

Penance Stare is iffy. It didn't work on Punisher or Deadpool.

@iragexcudder: It worked on Deadpool. He had so much sin, it lasted for a very long while. The art clearly shows that. Hell, it was even burning off his costume. I doubt Blaze would even need the PS to win.

@iragexcudder: Yeah, he knocked out Blaze, but he was literally waiting for Deadpool to get up from it. Adam can't even hurt Ghost Rider.

Not to mention Blaze was just standing there. I don't think he was trying to do anything to Deadpool, after the stare.

Didn't work on Punisher though of which surprised me, because he "Doesn't Regret". I don't think Teth regrets any of his actions either though.

@iragexcudder: He wouldn't be around? He can't really die. It clearly worked there. His healing factor saved his life there. Also, the stare doesn't fuel on regret anymore, only sin. It doesn't matter if they feel bad about it, anymore. I don't think BFR would since Ghost Rider is able to fly, IIRC.

I find ghost rider to be overrated at times. Sure Zarathos is a beast but zarathos is very rarely in power, it's normally the human host like blaze and I find him to be incredibly overrated. Just look at what world war hulk did to him.

If the host is blaze (or anyone but Zarathos) then I say teth could pull off a knockout.

Yeah he could fly, the motorcycle has wings. He's a hard character to debate against because he's majorly unstoppable. Teth surpasses him in almost every aspect though, besides the fact that Teth can be hurt and GR cant.

Is there a way that Ghost Rider can be snapped back to Johnny Blaze and KOed? I don't believe so. He should win tho

@thedailybagel: He can't even hurt Ghost Rider. WWH was just knocking Blaze around a tiny bit, there were no signs of actual pain. Ghost Rider would of stomped WW Hulk to death, if plot wasn't involved.

@iragexcudder: Nah I'll probably trade-wait for the new Ghost Rider series. I'm more of a Blaze fan. Also, I doubt snapping his neck would even phase him, since he was still walking and talking when a Lucifer-powered Jack-O-Lantern blew up his head.

i'm gonna go with Black Adam for a slight majority because i like him better, but i can definitely see how GR's durability would make this a tough fight.

@beaconofstrength: ghost rider was on the floor and knocked out, please explain how that is "being knocked about a tiny bit". It took Zarathos to make hulk grunt a little with his hellfire, then hulk got used to it and was standing in it casually.

Even dr strange mentioned that GR could maybe stop hulk if the safety was turned off (Zarathos).

@thedailybagel: Oh yeah, that happened. I still have major issues with that fight, since Ghost Rider has literally had his head blown up, and kept walking. And I still have issues talking WWH seriously, due to a lot of people jobbering. The fight ended, because apparently Hulk isn't guilty for invading and attacking the heroes of Manhattan. But, we're not talking about WWH, since I'm kind of biased towards that event. Also, Zarathos took control (or at least used his power) fairly often in the Ghost Rider series', IIRC (Christ, I just realized it has been years since I've read a Ghost Rider comic). Ghost Rider was also dominating the Avengers recently, until Rogue somehow took the spirit from him. I can't see Teth doing anything to a serious Ghost Rider, besides dying.

@beaconofstrength: the only person who I felt jobbed to hulk during WWH was reed Richards and his prep. Everyone else? Not so much. Sorry if I ever seem rude when discussing WWH mate but it just irritates me how everyone critisizes it with pretty much no evidence. Hulk was amped to an unknown degree and was also majorly p*ssed off so who the hell is it to say that people jobbed to hulk when we don't even know how powerful he was? I mean how were people jobbing to him when he actually lost at one point due to very specific plot purposes?
