WW3 Black Adam has been destroying cities to cities, the Avenger decided to mobilize its closest members to the battle field to defend New York without prep, but standard gear, but Black Adam is not messing around here, he is not holding back, he is willing to kill anyone

Adam takes out Namor and Quicksilver. Then Avengers go bloodlusted? I say they win then due to Thor and Hulk.

Either thor or hulk solo not saying they would but they could Unless thor is turned a frog also or an Ironman or mamor could give Black Adam a run for his money only way black Adam has a chance is if he creates clones of himself but even then Dr. Pym Tony Stark would figure out away to disable powers

WW3 Black Adam took on many powerful DC heroes at the same time who were much more dangerous than most of the avengers on this team with the exception of Thor and probably Hulk. So I'm going with WW3 Adam.

I'll say Adam gets through everyone using his wisdom/speed/strength except for Thor. Those two, assuming Thor survives a speed blitz due to becoming bloodlusted seeing his allies killed, then have a 50/50 all out brawl

Can Thor go into Warrior Madness?

If they can have World Breaker Hulk and Warrior Madness Thor, the rest of the Avengers are unnecessary

In Marvel vs. DC, Thor beat Captain Marvel with a lightning bolt that turns it into Billy Batson, I do not see why it can not happen the same with Adam. In this case Adam become dust.

Thor solos. Hulk solos, since Black Adam's tactics consist of (1) fly in close, (2) engage in brawl. In WW3 the narrator stated that many of the heroes were more powerful than Adam in one way or another, but Black Adam was just more ruthless. He was always going for the kill. Thor can used the lightning trick, or just fight him toe to toe. The Hulk can take this alone as well.

No one remember 52? Black Adam should take this.

Adam is immune to lightning

Adam only turns to dust in New 52. WW3/Pre-Flashpoint Adam turns back into his normal adult self. He does, however, mysteriously become black.

Thor vs Adam is 50/50 at best, if Thor just slugs it out with him. If he uses his full range of abilities he should have the edge over Adam. With the others this is a pretty solid win.

@jacthripper: They're not winning if we take WW3 showings, he took on John Stewart, Guy Gardener, Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, Dr. Light, Firestorm, Power Girl, Martian Manhunter, a few of these beings are more powerful than Superman (though Adam already fought Superman) etc all at the same time for hours.

@frozen: If thor goes warrior madness, or hulk goes world breaker, it's all over for him. Thor has the OF IIRC with it he should win pretty easily. If he doesn't it will be a long bloody struggle where BA eventually gets put down. Or Giant Man can shrink him to molecular level or grow him to the realm of abstract entities. Avengers have too many ways to take it IMO

WWIII had a fair amount of pis, but even accepting it, Thor's held the weight of the Nine Realms, survived a neutron star to the chest, he's walked in the center of the sun, he can dimension dump, and can directly manipulate the Earth. He's a match and more for the very best showing BA's ever had. And he has extra help.

I don't know why so many people on ComicVine think Black Adam, who is a magically amped brawler, auto-wins over the Hulk. Yet Thor, whom the Hulk has beaten in cannon, on panel, gets a pass. I even read those piece of $%#! Hulk vs. BA threads where noone gives any reasons as to why BA "stomps" Hulk. I'm not saying he can't... just post a freaking reason. The fact that Adam gets your fan-panties moist is not a reason we can debate.

The OP said that once Adam kills a couple Avengers - my vote is Quicksilver and Namor - everyone else gets bloodlusted. Stark calls in the Thor or Hulk Buster armor, Hulk is in World Breaker Mode, and Thor is in Warrior Madness. Not to mention, that Giant Man can do as @jacthripper pointed out, to which WW3 BA has no defense.

How's this, Hulk grapples Adam in a full nelson, while Thor caves his head in with Mjolnir. Yes, the green guy who can hold up a mountain range, tank nukes, and hold together the tectonic plates of an exploding planet can hold his own grappling against Black Adam (unless you can post feats that put his strength above that level). The hammer wielder who has smashed a planet with one strike can certainly cave in Adam's skull. Does anyone want to post scans of Black Adam tanking damage on that scale?

And I have read WW3, the DC heroes never get blood lusted and go all out. They remain in character.

Still adam, he has run Mach 500 before, Hank, quicksilver, and Ironman( mostly ironman and hank) won't even have time to think before they are broken in half. Thor and Hulk are MVP's here, but they won't even be able to touch Black Adam.

1. Hulk does not have super speed.
2. BA is immune to magical lightning, see Dr. Fate vs BA.
3. BA is backed by the top tier of the Egyptian pantheon, who laugh in the face of the Aesir.
4. When facing unknown threats, BA will go for the kill. How will the Hulk fare with his head having been ripped off at fractional speeds (i.e. almost light-speed)? Methinks, not so well.
5. Stark and his toys are a non-issue.
6. BA has survived a major astronomical event going off in his brain and continued fighting.
7. Thor... has joints. BA breaks every single major joint and then breaks the Asgardian's neck.
8. Then BA proceeds to speed blitz the rest, decapitating all of them.

Black Ada, especially WW3 BA wins. More specifically, it's a blood-bath.

Avenger's, primarily due to Thor/Hulk tag team but the oppressive support from the remainder helps too.
