she is not on par with him in strength since superman has been under the yellow sun for much longer so his cells have built up much more power, supergirl to my knowledge does not take planets busting with a shrug or a clash of planets well being right in the middle and i don't think her punches can destroy dimensions.

kara pulls superman from the source wall, she is able to beat superboy back with one punch and breaks his jaw, she and superman beat blackrock, she broke a moon in half well not even going FTL, superman has beaten thor so kara could beat BRB, she stopped a earthquake by whistling, superman has said that supergirl can crack the earth in half, she can take on a exploding star and be fine (she says) the list can go on, and magic is only weak it does not hurt them on a extreme level, also him blowing a hole in galactus was when he was starving.
Kara is powerful, she would beat Hulk, Sentry and IMO even Superman
but the Super fanatics are ignoring one key factor, DC writers never let their precious icon lose so all his battles are basically bullsht and badly written.

Please tell me which of his powers he can launch is the first 1/1000th of a second ? Most of the ones I see him use require time and concentration. He is vastly inferior in speed and strength to Supergirl. If he can be hurt by blows from beings as strong as himself (he and Thor helped each other to lift Asgard), how much damage do you think a blows from a being with 60 - 70% of the strength of Superman is going to do ? I'd probably say it would take his head off. As she has shown speed feats that would enable her to move and attack many times in this first fraction of a second, how will he react / defend against this attack ? As shown in the JLA/Avengers crossover (which is cannon), Superman handled being hit by an enchanted mallet. Sure it did damage but it did not end the fight. Superman emerged victorius despite this. Do I see this fight ending any differently, no.

1. That game isn't even close to canon, it's not even MK canon. 2. Did you even play it? They leveled the characters with a BS story about how the merging worlds was screwing with thier powers. Superman himself says his powers have been "fluctuating" Otherwise the rest of it would be stupid if it was simply magic that was hurting him, why would thier kicks and punches do damage? Joker and weaker guys like him goy amped up by "Kombat rage" and thus everyone was neatly explained to be on a more level palying field. (HORRIBLE STORY LINE.... for a horrible game) Regardless it was not about magic. 3. Your further arguements that he has no defense against magic and "your standard magic fireball can reduce him to ash" are mistaken, outdated and wrong. Current supers is not as vulernable to magic as he used to be, though not invincible or anything, it's not as devestating as you seem to think, and falsely propogate. 4.
