GLs are typically human, they can use the ring to fly at light speed but they do not have super speed. The rings are great weapons powered by great imagination but the Lanterns are limited by their human raction, Lanterns do not run in front of speeding bullets. They have enhanced speed and do not have true super speed
It's going to be a close fight because Lanterns are great fighters. The problem is BRB has the better damage soak and when the battle gets close he is better skilled at hand to hand fighting. BRB with no hammer beat the crap out of Thor. Also BRB's hammer does not need to recharge like a GL ring

this won't be a battle of h2h at all, this will be a battle of energy manipulation so brb being a better h2h fighter won't mean much, the rings grants them super speed and by no means the battle will last long enough that the ring will run out of power
