Below Street Level Tournament: CadenceV2 vs Esquire

#1 Posted by Esquire (3205 posts) - 6 months, 14 days ago - Show Bio

An abandoned city, plagued by an army of monsters.

Simple enough?

Each monster is a 2 tonner with speed and agility to match; they are completely mindless and bloodthirsty.

All combatants have been infected. Unfortunately, each team only has one antidote. It is your mission to find the opposing team, and steal their antidote to cure you and your partner. Teams start on opposite ends of the city, and have five hours to get their hands on their enemies serum.

Meanwhile, the monsters are still running rampant. Good luck.

Contestants and their team as follows.

Team CadenceV2:

Punisher Max: M60, M4 / 203 Launcher Grenade Launcher and Scope, Dual Colt 1911s, Grenades x2, Claymore x6, TNT x1

Ultimate Punisher: M4 Rifle with Scope, M500 Shotgun, Dual Colt 1911s, Grenades x2, and Spoon Shank.

Team Esquire:

James Bond: PPK, UMP. 45, Sig Sauer P226, Combat Knife

Jayne Cobb: Vera, Pistol, Shotgun, Frag Grenades x3, Flashbang x3, Combat Knife

@Esquire: I know Bond. At least the 90s and newer Bond. What Bond you using anyway? Also whos Jayne Cobb.

First Off I have to Masters of tracking a target and setting up a fire position. I seen this movie and know the Monsters dont seem to like the high ground. Both Punishers find a way into a building with food.. Ultimate Punisher takes the front with his Shotgun. Then Clean it out of Monsters.

Click, Click, BOOM!

Punisher Max will then set up his TNT, Claymores, and Grenades in the one Hallway in front of the Barricade Door.

Punisher Trap skills.

Punisher Max held off a whole Russian Army by making it one way in.

Point of this comes next.

Both Punishers are Snipers. Punisher Max is a famous Scout Sniper of Vietnam.

Punisher Max.

Ultimate Punisher from a Sky Scraper.

From there its a sit back and Scope for Esquires team. When his Team Arrives I will Snipe a few shots. Should they prove to hard to Snipe I will sit back and wait in KILLWAY (rigged hallway) with M-60 and M4 ready to rock should Esquire Team come in after me. Lure him into the Kill way and watch the pretty Explosives go to town.

Pick up the after match and be on my merry way cappin Muties with my Dual 1911s.

@CadenceV2: Bond is just Bond. He's been the same in-universe character throughout, just different actors, so all of his feats should apply.

Jayne Cobb is from Firefly, he's a mercenary and overall tough guy.

I'll get a response up later.

Okay, so here's how it'll go down. You're in the building, and there's only one way in, right? Wrong. Bond is not only a tactical genius, he's an incredibly agile and mobile special agent. Enter the Parkour Chase:

It's nine minutes long, but I'm guessing you've seen it already if you're familiar with modern Bond. The point is, he can mount the rooftops and attack from the above. Meanwhile, Jayne will do what he does best. Take cover and return fire. He'll blow through the barricade with grenades and then take cover, starting a gunfight between himself and the Punishers. He has better guns, since they're from far in the future, but Frank and Frank have the numbers advantage. With both sides taking cover and blazing away, this is pretty much a stalemate. Except Bond will enter through an upstairs window and shoot them from behind. The pincer attack will leave them with nowhere to go, and they'll get gunned down mercilessly, since both of my characters don't mind killing.

Here he makes a effective Fireplan that maximizes his kills.

Micro Himself Describes Punisher up.

I dont see some Sneak Attack from behind not being counted on.

I also dont see the Futur Weaponry that much better than the still War Proven M60 or Timeless Shotgun.

He may be good with prep, but he put all of his claymores, TNT, and Grenades in the "Killway." He has nothing left to set a trap with. So Bond can come in unmolested, especially since he's smart enough to check what's going on before he busts through a window or whatever.

Sound familiar?

@Esquire: My point is there should be no way in other than the Barricade. Punisher Max doesnt allow area uncovered for Bond to bust thru. He never been sneaked up on in his Fire Plans at all. He has areas covered at all times. So in a room with a hallway and only wall behind and stairs to the roof leaves all areas covered.

@CadenceV2: But in the video above, Bond is able to run through a wall and jump over/get around plenty of obstacles. I just don't see him getting shut down by a mere barricade.

@Esquire: Make no Mistake I think Bond can get thru a Barricade. He cant do it without Punisher noticing. In the Military with a Fire Plan you never leave your position in a blind spot of potential attack. These Superhuman Monsters can do all Bond can. 2 Punishers will leave a Blind Spot for them to attack too? I think not.

@CadenceV2: But then you've got Bond taking cover behind the barricade and Jayne taking cover at the end of the hallway, with the Punishers in the middle. Caught in the crossfire of two elite shooters, they'll go down.

@Esquire: If ya want that be your argument then go ahead. Bond is dead as there is No cover stopping a 7.62 round in a 200 belt fed clip. Or a 203 Launcher.

A Example of Punisher Max kill zones and prep. He will be laying down this kind of fire. Add to that the way he uses Explosives. None of your guys shown this kind of forethought into a kill zone.

Or any way of holding a position when throwing one of these bad boys at Jayne.

As seen again Punisher Kill way will leave a Opening (like in the above Scan with the flanking Hitmen into Claymores) for Cover for Jayne here. He takes the cover (its a small building space) and BOOM. No dodging or mere Dry Wall Cover from that :).

Also with all this shooting going on these guys will be all over Jayne or (Monkeying for all to see) Bond who is outside. Bond alone will be rushed by these guys. Heck he wont know where to ambush till my guys start shooting. By then Jayne outgun will be in pieces from the elaborate Killway.
