I have a real problem with these. They tank well beyond continental level damage as I recall. Prety damn sure entire fleets couldn't do much to them.

Just because it is from Star Trek does not mean it should just be allowed. The Krenim Ship was sort of a limit tester. It is easily more powerful than almost all ships. It is immune to damage and can 1 hit kill any target. The Voth Cityship is also pretty OP, it has a ship-scale transporter system onboard and is larger than even the biggest ship here.

I am currently deciding between the Federation Prometheus and the Reman Scimitar but I worry that the weaker shields will prove problematic for me should I go up against the 200 gigaton firepower of an Imperial Star Destroyer given that it is an order of magnitude more powerful than Star Trek ships. I know you chose one but, Star Trek shield strength is weaksauce compared to Star Wars and the heavier Sci-Fi. Will shields and firepower be normalized?

@dedmanwalkin: no normalization of shields and firepower. I chose Defiant because of it's damn cloak. My first choice would have always been Liberator from Blake's 7 (speed, superior AI, shields etc). My second choice would have been a high guard ship like Andromeda, but by my own rules I loose nova bombs and most of its offensive capacity. Honestly choice 3 was a white star from Babylon 5 due to the fact that it can hyperspace jump from anywhere instantly.

The cloaks of Defiant suit the underhanded dirty tactics of both Avon and Anasazi and will play to their deceptiveness. I considered the Romulan ship from Enterprise that could look like any vessel but it had too many shortfalls and the fact that Defiants drive is so powerful it can technically tear the ship apart if pushed doesn't hurt my speed either.

@beatboks1: So is my weaponry idea good or is the lack of a response an indication of a no?

Anyways, the ship I have in mind at the moment is this.

250 missile batteries each armed with 30 Concussion missiles. Each missile described as a city buster. 7500 cities worth of destructive capacity without taking into consideration ion canons, sounds like greater than "continental level damage to me. Even without this line in it's wiki

the Executor was capable of reducing any planetary surface to slag^[7] in a matter of hours.

That would be a resounding NO

@dedmanwalkin: Madison is a no... his metal manip is beyond the limits he has been able to transform himself into a lightspeed space ship etc. if you want him for technopathy that's fine but his other abilities are OP or need to be capped.

@darkseid1006: You have Upgrade and Malware on your team and they do the exact same thing. Madison Jeffries' range is not enough to be an issue here and he has only been able to move more than 10 tons when combined with Box. Box boosts his powers.

@dedmanwalkin: really? For some reason I had him pegged at Cable level metal manip. If its only 10 tons then that is in the tourney rules... I think

@darkseid1006: This is one of the big misconceptions about Madison Jeffries, he has limits when outside of Box. His biggest out of Box feat is reforming the 10 tons of debris from an aircraft into water ready ship. Please note, he wasn't able to actually stop it from falling just change its shape which means he didn't "lift" 10 tons.
Even then, he doesn't manipulate the full 10 tons all at one time just the parts he needs to move.

I mainly want him for instant repairs.
