Who would win and why?
@mavfan626: Gambit has a very long history of dodging bullets, great hand to hand feats, and a very powerful ability.
Batwing's suit is good, and flight is nice but he doesn't have the long history of awesome feats like Gambit does.
Check out a Gambit respect thread, some of that stuff is wild.
@matchesmalone21: Considering he has evaded gunfire many many times, and most bullets move much faster then the speed of sound, it makes sense that he would be able to evade a hand held sonic weapon as well.

@Lady_Liberty: It doesn't appear to be handheld, but instead somehow built into his armor.
Cool story bro. Can Batwing dodge a charged armor?
I wasn't make a case for or against him. I was pointing out it's not a handheld weapon.
Oh silly k4tz, how you not know I was giving you lulz?

I know you're trolling, but honestly, I'm just not in the mood to play along.
@k4tzm4n: Good to know.
I don't think it changes much. I mean maybe having it built into his armor makes it a little less mobile, and more difficult to aim, but obviously more difficult to disarm?
In the end though, Gambit still has a very long history of feats, while Batwings is to short at this time to make this a really good fight.
Alright then. Since we are in a very serious mood today, Gambit wins. I do not believe Batwing has enough showings that put him on par with any significant street level threat. His armor might protect him from a single thrown card, but I doubt it will handle much more than that and I do not really see Batwing being able to tag Gambit. The sonic attack appears to be a single directional attack so it can be dodged and what street leveler cannot dodge things that move at bullet speeds?
@Erik: I agree Gambit likely wins. His agility, reflexes and offensive power will likely be key here. If Batwing plays it smart (and that seems to be in character), he has the potential to at least keep this amusing - flying around and forcing Gambit to dodge a volley of projectile attacks he has used so far (the basic stuff used on the pirates, incendiaries, etc). Perhaps the sonic attack could grant a win if he uses it in close range (like he did with Long), but overall I he unfortunately hasn't impressed enough to warrant a majority. Hopefully he'll get more impressive feats as the series continues.
