Battle of the Week RESULTS: Deathstroke vs. Boba Fett

@floopay: Deathstroke would win quite decisively afaik.

@i_like_swords: Shadowman is pretty tough and pretty durable. Plus boasts Superhuman Strength, Reflexes, Speed, and has a potent healing factor to top all of that off.

Not to mention he's got natural fighting skill and some other fun abilities.

@floopay: I've read the first few issues of his ongoing so I'm not totally up to date, but I just don't see it as a fight that could go either way. Shadowman could certainly put up a fight though and I wouldn't mind debating for him.

I think his durability and healing factor might actually surpass Deathstroke, and that's kind of a big deal. While Deathstroke might be stronger, it's not by much if at all.

His speed/reflexes can compete with Deathstroke on some level, and then he has a whole list of other abilities that should help him out.

Overall I think it's a good fight.

I don't know why Spider-man, and Marvel's other favorite poster boy, Iron Man is off to the side pretty in the shadows while ol short yellow and blue is in the middle lookling like a fraud. Im thinking that @wolverine08 probably work's for Marvel's web design team and rigged this up somehow.

@zzombie13: Dude.. that is so epic. Not only because of the art itself, but the subtle references you manage to slip into your work (like father like son, Slade-1). The drawing of Slade as a smoking heap in Boba's visor was also extremely creative. Nice work! You should do all the art for BotW.

Would Gamora be a good match for Deathstroke?

If not, what about a 2 on 1? Gamora and Black Widow vs. Slade?

It's definitely a testament to the arguments in the thread and Boba Fett's advantages in this fight that he only lost by 4% of the vote. Usually the difference is much more obvious than that but this week's voting was much closer than prior Battle of the Week threads.

I think the next fight should be this months selected character (Deathstroke) vs last month's champ. (Moonknight). That would be a great fight. Or they could have Deathstroke fight Taskmaster since both came out the same year (1980) and have similar costumes.

Definitely glad I made it onto this. I could have put up a more thoughtful comment, but I was away and circumstances made my debating time limited.

Anywho, can't say I can complain. If there's one person I'd be okay with beating Boba, it'd be Deathstroke.

That means a lot man.. you were definitely a big part of what inspired me to start reading into Boba, and I have no issue admitting that parts of my argument originated with information you showed me a while ago. You're sort of like Jaster Mereel in a way, except, alive.

easy , Boba Fett would win , u have to be a pretty angry failed Deadpool fan to go for Deathstroke on this ,, not only is boba fett way out of Deathstroke's league in Technology & the knowledge of the force " anti darth vader helmet " but boba fett has had trained jawas that would prolly do the job in executing deathstroke with ease like the fake CaptainAmerica he is . Deathstroke is getting all this vulcan hype NOW because the folks that got extorted from Image comics are revamping him like the fake prophet he is now ...stephen platt , as for the fan art of stroke chopping fett's head ..o how original , Wolverine already did that to Sabertooth & Sam L jackson did that in the new extorted Georgelucas starwars movies ( horrible artwork btw looks like a bootleg go-bots bubblegum comic strip u get in jail or something )

It's kinda funny how people refer to Han defeating Boba in the movie as dumb luck when the movie is the one true original source and everything else is actually fan fiction. Sorry, but it's true.

@k4tzm4n: I wanna see Deathstroke vs Luther Strode. Hopefully you could get Justin Jordan to write a piece on how the fight would go (even if that's reaching a bit :P)
