A Captain America villain, also a villain in the new Captain America movie.
He is not that serous of a threat, Shiva beats him, and pretty easily.

Oh, okay. Thanks. Shiva stomps then.
Lady Shiva.
This is a complete and utter stompage. Lady Shiva easy.
Now ... if it's GSP as Batroc on the other hand ... ;P
Hey, Batroc makes Captain America work and Shiva only fights Batman (ducks batarangs from Batman fanboys :). Crap, the accent alone gives him a shot, not to mention the cool stache.
@super_soldierxii: Ten straight takedown's and few dozen elbows from Shiva's guard.
@robertloucksjr: How many comics with Shiva did you read?? Lady Shiva is in the top 20 of DC's martial artists,it's a shame that everyone thinks she only fought against Batman, because she was never a character of the Bat-Universe until the 80s. She was trained by the best and not only that, through the years she teach several heroes, was not only someone that relies on his physical prowess and martial skills.
She was able to defeat Richard Dragon in melee combat,if you don't know he was considered the top martial artist and he was her teacher, besides having taught Batman,Huntress,Batgirl (Barbara Gordon),The Question (Vic Sage)..... Shiva crossed paths with the Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins, and was trained by them further enhancing their skills. Among other things she did was train Tim Drake,Batman (during Knightquest),Cassandra Cain (because she lost her body language reading).
She already defeated tens of Senseis around the world and Richard Dragon,King Snake,Batman,Black Canary,Batgirl (Cassandra Cain, before trained her),Connor Hawke...you really want to compare the two?

Lol. And he surely would not be impressed by her performance.
She was able to defeat Richard Dragon in melee combat,
Are you referring to the instance where RD had her beat then her henchmen saved her? Because that instance it was stated RD let her win, after her henchmen saved her from losing to RD.
The only way this is competitive is if Shiva's arms are bound. Otherwise, this is over in 30 seconds tops.

LOL@ the GSP reference.
I dunno about that. I mean Hawkeye beat him hand to hand AFTER being worn down by Zaran and Machete.
@daawesome2: Batroc has quite a few terrible showings. He was fearful of Crossbones and got wrecked by Gambit, too. That said, the amount of showings where he can give Rogers a decent fight outweight those IMHO. He's of course outclassed by Shiva, but I think he has the skill and agility to at least make this amusing aka not over in a single strike (though that of course is possible) and lasts more than a few moments.
EDIT: No clue what's going on with the random bolding. Can't fix it, either.
Is Steve ever going all out against him tho?
I don't know if I've ever even seen him have Cap in a precarious situation without there being extenuating cirucumstances like when Cap was undercover and Batroc told him he would snitch on him if he didn't let him beat him. Or Obidiah Stane had Cap's shield and Batroc wouldn't tell Cap where it was unless Cap gave him one free shot. Cap took his best shot by the way and got up and one shotted him right after.
