Basically all versions of Batman that has ever existed, in both comics and movies and shows and animation, vs all versions of Superman that has ever existed.
And yes, Batman gets prep time.

Adam West solos with anti-Supermen spray
Ignoring the Adam West version of Batman, comics version of Batman should be able to beat Superman handily if they are given enough prep time.
Like say, enough prep time to find out about Superman's weakness and HOW to target that weakness before Superman can attack.
A lot of users here claimed that Batman has never defeated Superman in canon. This is an common myth and is easily debunked by all the comic scans of Batman thrashing Superman. "Canon" is irrelevant. In "mainstream" continuity Batman may not have defeated Superman - Yet. In other continuities as shown for example in Dark Knight Returns, it has been shown that it is plausible for Batman to defeat Superman.
Live with it and accept that Superman is not completely invulnerable.

And how exactly is Batman with prep going to defeat Superman One Million?
thought robot superman solos
Thought Robot Superman isn't exactly Superman. Just a mental construct of sorts that happened to look like Superman.
With the exception of Superman Prime One Million, other versions of Superman have weaknesses that Batman can handle.
I meant most versions of Superman.
As in, generally speaking, Batman should be able to beat Superman handily. Superman Prime One Million is an extreme outlier that defies logic.
@wenjunchew: it's still a superman because it had supe's "brains" and the only chance a batman can stop a superman is when that superman holds back a lot.

Well this thread is all Batmen vs all Supermen and I highly doubt any Batman can defeat him.
@spm1m Your username seems to be made for this thread XD

that is merely coincidence lol

Thought Robot was the combination of multiple Supermen and he does infact solo.
@dagmar_merrill: Superman doesn't have those standard equipment necessarily to conjure Thought Robot.
Supermen win in every way except book sales, movie grosses, and overall level of heroism (how many times does Superman actually RISK his life instead of "holding back", versus Batman, who risks his life against virtually EVERYONE).
@wenjunchew: Doesn't matter, it's a version of Superman so it is in this battle.

Actually its arguable about the level of heroism.
It does say a lot about a person who has great power but doesn't fall into temptation to misuse it.
@dagmar_merrill: though I hate to say it, but that guy is right. it is not a version of superman:
the thought robot (the real name, no superman at the end) was created by a monitor, and the thing needs superman, and ultraman to power it. it is not a version of superman.
@van_cere: It's a Thought Robot powered by Superman and Ultraman how is that not a Superman?
@wenjunchew: I disagree with nearly everything you say ever that I have read so far on these boards because your Batwanking is near Sky Father levels. In saying that how can you say Superman is more of a hero than Batman. Batman risks his life every time he fights anyone. That's a hero. Not saying Supes isn't but he's almost never in any danger.
Edit. You didn't say more but comparable. Still it's not
@dagmar_merrill: if a robots power source is energy, is the robot a form of energy?
@van_cere: That isn't the same thing.
@dagmar_merrill: it basically is. the robot was made of pure thought by a monitor, made to resemble superman in shape and form.
I am sure if the robot was made to look like something made from thought, all bright and swirly with no superman symbol, you would not be arguing about this.
@mtuske: I never said Superman is more of a hero than Batman. I'm saying that when it comes to level of heroism, it is not as simple as using a single metric to measure.
Yes, Batman struggles with his life in most of his battles. That's one metric to measure.
However, heroism can also be measured by knowing when to walk away from a fight. That's what Superman is good in. He pulls his punches most of the time because he doesn't wish to kill despite being tempted to many times.
@wenjunchew: A part of me thinks it is. Bravery, courage and valor is the definition of heroism. Batman risks his life going into a fire to save someone while Superman doing the same action while doing a good deed is hardly in no more danger than getting bit by a fly.
@mtuske: being a hero is facing horrible odds but still going into battle so yesss batman is more often a hero but it aint supes fault
Adam West loses the first of every single two part episode, which is every one in the series. People seem to forget that.
this isn't even a debate. the only thing the batmen will do is use their prep to is to con nightwing into being batman again so the bruce's can get the heck out of town.
@van_cere: how does your logic work then ? two different superman don't make it a superman ? you might as well not consider hank handshaw as cyborg superman or joseph meach as composite superman. those two by your logic are not superman but they are aptly considered as such through a whole lot of things, evidently by dna and powers. so please amuse me more on how you could not consider this as a superman when these two beings who possess far lesser stuff than the original superman are considered as such.
@kyrees: by DNA and powers. even though TR does not have DNA. you think it is considered a superman because of what, it looks like him? it's pilots are two supermen? ridiculous.
the look can be anything. and if you really base who is and who is not superman base on their looks, then if I get a face paint, am I superman?
and I am sure you do not consider the jaegers in pacific rim to be their pilots, because it is exactly the same thing. except the jaegers do not have a picture of their main pilots face painted on it.
@van_cere: hank henshaw never had superman's dna in the first place and merely copied it and it passed off as one and he's considered as one. joseph meach got struck by lightning along with the legion of superheroes statues/their duplicates and he got their powers their and he's considered as one. thought robot is powered by two superman and yet you don't consider him as superman.
you want me to continue with how numerous versions of superman are considered superman ?
