@w0nd: Thors strength and durability. isn't a power it's a trait he can't just turn it off.. Unlike Superman where it just takes Kryptonite to get rid of it.

What is with this latest trend of obviously one-sided battles?

Thor, without any powers, gets curbstomped by Batman.

Thor, with powers, curbstomps Batman.

Either way...it's an obvious curbstomp.

By no powers, does this include Thor's Asgardian physiology? Or just the removal of the powers he has?....Because he's still an Asgardian which I'm pretty sure is still well above human stats.

Batman beating Thor in H2H combat is like Black Panther putting Silver Surfer in a headlock.. Nothing but PIS.

This is hard to say since batman has surperior fighting skills but thor has more brute strength and he is more durable.

You can have as much skill as you want but if you can't even hurt the person it doesn't matter unless you have PIS/CIS on your side.

Yeah....neither are Superman's...but when an OP states "No Powers" it means anything that would put them above human level is gone.

@shawnbaby: Actually no it's different Thor's is all natural.. can't be taken away or Shut off. He's not even an Alien and theres a reason behind Supermans strength and durability, plus how it can be taken away so no those are powers to Superman not Thor. :)

Without powers, Thor still wins. He is still Asgaurdian, so he still weighs over 600 lbs, and can lift 30 tons. (average asgaurdian)

Hey man, I'm afraid he is right. The OP states that he doesn't have powers. So without powers, Thor is still an Asgaurdian. So he can lift about 30 tons, and weighs around 600 lbs.

Superman's powers are all natural as well. They are simply the result of what happens when Kryptonians are exposed to a yellow sun. And Thor has been depowered before as well.

Regardless, it doesn't matter...either way you look at it this is a spite match

If Thor has his strength and durability...Batman has no chance.

If Thor doesn't have his strength and durability...Thor has no chance.

@shawnbaby: I'm just going to say this and be done cause you just proved my point.

"They are simply the RESULT of what happens when Kryptonians are exposed to a yellow sun." That's not NATURAL if his powers are caused by something else.

Thors strength and durabily is what you get when you're an Asgarudian god. It has nothing to do with a Star.. A Mutation.. A Fruit.. A Ring.. A Hammer etc. He's a totally different being..

Thor being "depowered" Isn't like Superman and Kryponite.. Thor doesn't have a real weakness like that.. Again it's completely different.

I'm pretty sure the person who made this thread knows that having Thor and Batman equalized in certain areas would make this clear.

Thor wins with and without powers for the simple fact that Batman can't hurt Thor or keep him down without PIS/CIS.

So please stop saying they're Powers when they're Traits :)

If you want to look at it like that then Mutants don't have "Powers" either. They have Traits endowed upon them by their X-Gene. Superman's "Powers" are Traits given to him by being a Kryptonian exposed to a Yellow Sun. Martian Manhunter doesn't have "Powers" he has traits that are typical of his race.

And, As I've already said

If Thor has his Strength and Durability (or any of his other "Powers") He Stomps

If he doesn't...he gets stomped.

either way it is a mismatch.

@shawnbaby: See now you're getting it.. I think. Everything you said is right except Traits aren't given to you they're something you already have, "powers" are given to you.. Soo a yellow sun can't give traits that in itself makes no sense. Thors strength and durabily wasn't given to him.. by anything.. SOOO they're not a powers.

And yes this is a Mismatch in Thors favor.

And yes

Well..Mutants aren't "given" anything. Mutants (by Marvel's terminology) are just the next phase in evolution for humanity. So...their "powers" are just as natural as Thor's "Traits"

if this is human thor (when all his abilities and traits were taken away by odin and made him human) vs batman..... then by feat batman takes it... though i really have to say.. thor hasn't showed much of skill feats for few thousand years of experienced warrior.. where as it is mandatory for any warrior to have impressive skills when they are that much vastly experienced in fighting.
