Batman vs Thor

Strict hand to hand. No Asgardian powers or durability for Thor, this is simply a H2H match. Thor is aware Batman is versed in H2H techniques. Win by KO, morals on. Who wins?

Isnt it against the rules to Depower a character to make this a fair fight?

Still going with Thor just cause I can't stand fanboys.

Batman easily

#4 Posted by ImTheDamnBatman (2755 posts) - 4 months, 21 days ago - Show Bio

It's depowering, yes, but it had to be done to meet the specifications of this match. And what's with you saying you can't stand fanboys? This is a close match, Thor is versed in thousands of years of Asgardian fighting styles. I take it you didn't know that though, and assumed I was making a spite battle for Batman. Which would be false. Fail.

@ImTheDamnBatman: I would say thor based on his age and he's been trained as a warrior but he has no rwal good specific h2h feats that say he could take on batman, so batman ftw

Powerless Thor beat Cap. I think he can take Batman.

#7 Posted by MrBossAwesomeDude (232 posts) - 4 months, 21 days ago - Show Bio

Would be a close and good battle though. Thor taking the majority.

Batman.

Batman wins. Thor is good but he's heavily dependent on strength and Mjolnir to win battles. Without Super endurance, super strength or Mjolnir he loses to the Bat. Bruce is no joke and if he was ever morals off it'd be DANGER ZONE haha

Batman embarrasses Thor.

So basically your taking away everything that make's Thor who he is so that Batman can win. Screw it I'm giving it to Thor, he's got thousands of years of combat experience against people that render his strength and durability moot any way and Thor will kill so I go with him

If that's how the fight is, then I'd...well, I'd still give it to Thor a good amount of times due to his years of combat experience.

i've never seen the point of these type of battles. we dont know the extent of this character's strength when depowered. we can just imagine it. making this battle nul and void.

Thor, no matter how depowered he is, will always have his years of experience over Batman. It doesn't matter how many fighting styles Batman knows, just how he uses those styles in combat at the very instance of using said styles. Thor, on the one hand, has had more than a few centuries to develop his own fighting style, which could very well out-maneuver Batman's. I'm not lowballing any character here, although the winner would be Thor in the end.

Whenever Thor meets equal in Strength and Durability he always gets forced to use magic just to survive

Thor should wins, he is 6'6 and 640 lbs. I doubt that pressure points would work on him.

How is batman going to fight with someone with thousands of years training in fighting?

Batman

#19 Posted by BringnIt (3680 posts) - 4 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

Bruce does. Thor has been a brawler for thousands of years, and battles primarily with weaponry. One good showing from back in the day against Cap doesn't change the fact that Thor exhibits little combat skill or intelligence compared to Bruce.

#20 Posted by FiguredOut95 (366 posts) - 4 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

Thor would run home crying to Odin by the time Batman was finished with him ... Although Thor will not forget his embarrassment and when he gets Mjolnir back Batman better be prepared to face up to his actions.

#21 Posted by Lvenger (8228 posts) - 4 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

Batman for certain. Thor might have held his own against Cap but against someone like Bruce, he's outmatched. Without his powers, Batman's 127 martial art styles outclass Thor's combat experience.

#22 Posted by toptom (612 posts) - 4 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

thor has thousand years...but he rarely shows any skill during his fight. batman wins this.

#23 Posted by 80sBaby (1271 posts) - 4 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

Experience is overrated. Batman stomps Thor.

#24 Posted by comicace3 (1467 posts) - 4 months, 20 days ago - Show Bio

Bats would win given the fact that he is a more skilled fighter. Even though thor has fought in asgardian martial arts he just seem like the brawler type and believe his size can beat bats. How utterly wrong he would be.

Close...Thor is still very strong even without power... probably bane...as someone said 6'6 and 640 pounds. Batman is 6'2 and 210 pounds. They are almost equal in fighting, I'm giving the edge to Batman though.

I say Thor wins overall

Batman

#27 Posted by Stompa (824 posts) - 4 months, 11 days ago - Show Bio

For me it´s the problem with most guys with super strength, there is no need for fancy technique if you can punch a hole in reinforced steel....on paper Thor should have a huge advantage in fighting experience but only in one style while Batman is a master of a dozen. So assuming they are physically about equal Batman schould win.

#28 Posted by Pyrogram (10697 posts) - 4 months, 11 days ago - Show Bio

Thor in reality has over Ten thousand years of fighting experience. Maybe Hundred of thousands. He wins.

#29 Posted by Bo88gdan (4126 posts) - 4 months, 11 days ago - Show Bio

THor wins

#30 Posted by SHAZAM117 (1183 posts) - 4 months, 11 days ago - Show Bio

Under these stips, Batman should win. I wouldn't go as far as to say he would "school" Thor, but he should handily win 7/10 imo

#31 Posted by Batman242 (2041 posts) - 4 months, 11 days ago - Show Bio

Are they in character? Cause ya know Thor would just insult him. This is a tough battle. I'm gonna give it to Batman in the end.

#32 Posted by JJ62 (758 posts) - 3 months, 26 days ago - Show Bio

So let me get this straight...you take every thing that makes Thor who he is away..JUST so you can have an excuse for Batman to win..,.PATHETIC!! Btw Captain America would thrash Batman, Deathstroke did it.,,

Another Bat-FIS thread. Why not just depower everyone else in comics so Batman can win? These threads are ridiculous an should be locked.
