the T-800 is sent back in time to kill Batman. He knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman and comes to Wayne Manor.
T-800 has shotgun.
Batman has batcave.
T-800 is bloodlusted.

@thecowwasdelirious: How can a T-800 be bloodlusted?
@jestersmiles: he always is.
@darthaznable: it should, i mean he's made of metal.
@thecowwasdelirious: But it's future tech. You'd think they would have come up with a resistance to them in the year 2029. Either way Batman has too many resources along with what he has on his person to not win. Not to mention he has the speed and tactical advantage.
@darthaznable: but he is totally unprepared and the only reason Sarah Connor survived is that she ran like a duck. Batman would stand and fight and that's why i think Terminator would win. Also Batman is not in-suit and he is in Wayne Manor, so he'd have to escape to the batcave to survive.
@darthaznable: EMPs are used by the Resistance so they should work if its the correct frequency, but thats unlikely as Skynet uses a hidden frequency which Batman wouldn't know about. Im not sure about this model, but the T-888s had a 120 second reboot time. But remember, Batman wont know the Terminator is a machine until he damages the skin till the metal shows which, would he do with morals?
@thecowwasdelirious: He can put the manor on lockdown.
@klaus You raise a valid point, Bruce won't know until he goes in for a physical confrontation. His detective skills are extradionary though so I don't think it will take a very long time to realize what he's dealing with.
@klaus: let's say morals on for Batman.
@darthaznable: he can, but that's as unlikely as him doing anything with a T-800 around.

I see once a T-800 by comics with a reboot time, and it was not do to EMP. It took hours, but again it was from a detail hacking rather than EMP.
However T-800s have been hit by EMPs and had no reboot time.
In this Dark Horse comic, a Resistance fighter sent back in time built a specified emp gun. He states however that the weapon only works if he hits the head where the CPU chip is, other wise its a wasted shot.
So getting hit randomly seems to have no affect on T-800 at all.
Also in the Terminator Salvation movie, there was no EMP except in the beginning of the movie with the underground nuke went off. All the resistance used was just a electronic signal, not a EMP. It was also a fake signal at that.
As a batman fanboy I can realistically say this can go either way..
If bats is unaware that the terminator is in fact a machine, and confronts him in h2h the terminator in a no nonsense manner will rip him limb from limb.
However if he is aware it is a machine bats won't even give it the time of day and will off it in the blink of an eye.. Bats has beat tons of robot/cyborgs over the years it is no different then any other mediocre robot.
@genius1265: He is totally unaware of it being a robot.
@genius1265: He is totally unaware of it being a robot.
well, even if he is unaware of it being a robot, I think Batman would be durable enough to take a punch and realize that the robot is not human, and goes for safety cover to plan again.
@aange4315: You don't think a punch from a T-800 would go through Bruce Wayne's chest?
@johnnyz256: exactly, a totally surprised Bruce would not stand a chanse against a T-800.
@thecowwasdelirious: Would Batman be fast enough to dodge a chest punch from the terminator? He is obviously faster than a normal human, but the terminator is, too.
@johnnyz256: Bruce would think that the T-800 is regular cannon fodder and just try to beat him down like any schmuck, and then T-800 would BFR him with a few punches.
@thecowwasdelirious: @johnnyz256: Even if T-800 will go for fatal attacks at the start, Batman has body armor and thus is way more durable - Not to mention that he's peak human. What the T-800 had killed as seen in the movie are mere average humans.
@aange4315: he's not in-suit as i've stated above.
Could go either way. It's not like Bruce will actively try to get hit to begin with... even if he doesn't suspect T-800 to be a robot, he'd still exhort caution. After all, if the T-800 is in his house it's safe to assume the Bruce would have worked out that it know's he's Batman, which'll make him wary of it. Then if something happens like the T-800 goes to punch Bruce, Bruce dodges and the T-800 breaks a hole in the wall Bruce will probably work out it's a robot. Then again, if the T-800 gets a good shot in it most likely would at least KO Bruce, then it'll move in for the kill.
