@Batman242: so either way batman wins, i was gonna due a random encounter, but i wanted it to be a full on fight
Ryu has the reaction speed to deflect machine gun fire. I'm not talking about just dodging them like Batman does. Ryu can deflect each and every bullet. Hayabusa has also tanked a Nuclear level explosion in Ninja Gaiden 2. I remember that well because I died so many times before I figured out to block the damn thing.
@King Saturn: should i just make it a random encounter then or leave it the way it is? cuz i think with prep it'd be a way better fight then with a random encounter
Ryu slaughters Batman. I take it a lot of people here haven't played any of the Ninja Gaiden games. Ryu ends this fight before Batman even knows its started.
Batman with prep has a good chance but within this scenario I don`t think 1 hour of prep is enough, Ryu is faster, more agile and is much more aggressive when it comes to fighting, he should win pretty easily after a bloody fight.
Ryu hayabusa most likely wins (ive played a couple but not all ninja gaiden games, but im pretty aware of ryu's feats)
batman has a better chance in the first round but 1 hour may not be enough. if might be though. im leaning towards batman if he knows how to handle ryu ( since he knows nothing about him)
round 2 is largely in ryus favor. he is superior physically and much more aggressive. ryu will have no problem killing bats
Umm, Ryu stomps really hard here. With 15 mins prep, Batman won't have anything near what he would need to take down Ryu. The guy leaves afterimages from his movements and slices through people like warm butter. Plus the guy can summon a froggin fire dragon with his ninpo and devour groups of people in an instant. Ryu wins.

@RudeBomberBoy01: can batman have any advantage :P
Dude, Batman gets stomped hard......unless he just brings a suit to the battle. Or, the two agree to do it in an honorable way with just H2H. OR, like 3 hours prep.
But hey, Batman may not be as fast as Ryu in combat, but he does have some good strength feats and to add a vibrating hand thing that just absurd. I still say Ryu wins though.
Batman will not Beat Ryu with only 15 mins of Prep. He will need a great deal more to deal with his powers, speed and ability.
Ryu has dealt with extremely high level bangers Solo. Maybe no one with batman's mind, but Ryu is out doing him in every single considerable stat minus technical prowess and Ryu isn't some fool.
I"m saying Ryu. Besides, even with Prep, the OP says standard equips. So it would be a would be Ninja in Batman vs one of the greatest Ninja of all time Ryu.
Might be a fight, but once distance is closed easy win for Ryu.
Easily Ryu here, random encounter or not.
If you give Batman a day's prep however, they might push this to a stalemate.
Ryu is far above the peak of man. He wields and swings around a 100+ pound sword like it's a broadsword. Lifting and doing the ezno drop and leaping 100s of feet in the air or landing from 100 feet drops in cutscenes like nothing.
I think in the physical department Batman is outmatched.
Hayabusa wrecks, he's easily hypersonic in terms of speed..... If you played Ninja Gaiden 3, he blitzes attack helicopters, jets, giant mechs, and dodges missiles from AA guns mid-air. Oh, and he can turn into a giant dragon that devours enemies instantly.
@thewhiteronin: With all due respect, Batman has faced superhumans with powers before , the JLA . He has experience in this, making him take the advantage. Ryu has not as much against people like Batman , more monsters and demons and such.
