vs.

Both have 30 minutes to prep.

Battle takes place in a village.

Both have standard weaponry, who wins?

lets hear some opinions!

batman with prep i think we all know who wins this

#4 Edited by Batman242 (4860 posts) - - Show Bio

I think a H2H fight would've been better.... that's if Ryu has such feats. I give it to Batman due to prep. Random encounter, he loses.

#5 Edited by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@Batman242: so either way batman wins, i was gonna due a random encounter, but i wanted it to be a full on fight

#6 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@KINGJAMES447: can ryu have an advantage ?

#7 Posted by Shavo (2061 posts) - - Show Bio

@fatalsniper728: batman with prep cant be beaten by anything less than a planet buster

#8 Posted by Batman242 (4860 posts) - - Show Bio

@fatalsniper728: H2H, random encounter.

#9 Posted by Smart_Dork_Dude (2633 posts) - - Show Bio

Hmm, Ryu

#10 Posted by King Saturn (224033 posts) - - Show Bio
with prep time... Batman will beat Ryu easy IMO... it gets a little more interesting in a H2H combat random encounter though... but considering Batman's extensive fighting skills and experience... he maybe able to handle the Ninja.

Ryu has the reaction speed to deflect machine gun fire. I'm not talking about just dodging them like Batman does. Ryu can deflect each and every bullet. Hayabusa has also tanked a Nuclear level explosion in Ninja Gaiden 2. I remember that well because I died so many times before I figured out to block the damn thing.

#12 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@King Saturn: should i just make it a random encounter then or leave it the way it is? cuz i think with prep it'd be a way better fight then with a random encounter

Ryu slaughters Batman. I take it a lot of people here haven't played any of the Ninja Gaiden games. Ryu ends this fight before Batman even knows its started.

Batman with prep has a good chance but within this scenario I don`t think 1 hour of prep is enough, Ryu is faster, more agile and is much more aggressive when it comes to fighting, he should win pretty easily after a bloody fight.

#15 Posted by rolldestroyer (3508 posts) - - Show Bio

Ryu hayabusa most likely wins (ive played a couple but not all ninja gaiden games, but im pretty aware of ryu's feats)

#16 Posted by Hyperlight (5713 posts) - - Show Bio

batman has a better chance in the first round but 1 hour may not be enough. if might be though. im leaning towards batman if he knows how to handle ryu ( since he knows nothing about him)

round 2 is largely in ryus favor. he is superior physically and much more aggressive. ryu will have no problem killing bats

Bats thanks to prep

#18 Posted by austyn12090 (81 posts) - - Show Bio

What can Batman actually do with only an hour of prep?

#19 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@austyn12090: get all his weaponry

#20 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@ChaosBlazer: i changed the prep time

Umm, Ryu stomps really hard here. With 15 mins prep, Batman won't have anything near what he would need to take down Ryu. The guy leaves afterimages from his movements and slices through people like warm butter. Plus the guy can summon a froggin fire dragon with his ninpo and devour groups of people in an instant. Ryu wins.

Prep isn't going to help Batman here. He gets owned pretty easily!

@RudeBomberBoy01: can batman have any advantage :P

This, people clearly haven't played Ninja Gaiden.

@fatalsniper728:

The only way Batman can win this is if he gets outside help or major prep time.

Dude, Batman gets stomped hard......unless he just brings a suit to the battle. Or, the two agree to do it in an honorable way with just H2H. OR, like 3 hours prep.

But hey, Batman may not be as fast as Ryu in combat, but he does have some good strength feats and to add a vibrating hand thing that just absurd. I still say Ryu wins though.

#27 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

doesn't have batman more weapons then ryu does ?

#28 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@RudeBomberBoy01: well he does have good fighting skills...and has top notch weaponry

#29 Posted by saiyan_earthling (5441 posts) - - Show Bio

Give Batman some prep time, he wins.

#30 Posted by Needlebay (1935 posts) - - Show Bio

Ryu.

#31 Posted by Bossmonster (2202 posts) - - Show Bio

Batman will not Beat Ryu with only 15 mins of Prep. He will need a great deal more to deal with his powers, speed and ability.

Ryu has dealt with extremely high level bangers Solo. Maybe no one with batman's mind, but Ryu is out doing him in every single considerable stat minus technical prowess and Ryu isn't some fool.

I"m saying Ryu. Besides, even with Prep, the OP says standard equips. So it would be a would be Ninja in Batman vs one of the greatest Ninja of all time Ryu.

Might be a fight, but once distance is closed easy win for Ryu.

#32 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@saiyan_earthling: i changed the prep time, it's gonna stay that way

#33 Posted by EscoBlades (75 posts) - - Show Bio

Easily Ryu here, random encounter or not.

If you give Batman a day's prep however, they might push this to a stalemate.

#34 Posted by SlimJ87D (9679 posts) - - Show Bio

Ryu is far above the peak of man. He wields and swings around a 100+ pound sword like it's a broadsword. Lifting and doing the ezno drop and leaping 100s of feet in the air or landing from 100 feet drops in cutscenes like nothing.

I think in the physical department Batman is outmatched.

Doesn't mean anything if Ryu can just knock them all down.

#36 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

@SlimJ87D: i think batman is more of a brute force fighter while ryu uses stealth and speed

#37 Posted by fatalsniper728 (498 posts) - - Show Bio

i guess were done discussing this fight lol
