I don't get why people think Batman stomps The Punisher, yet they claim that The Punisher would beat (stomp) Joker, who is on the same level as Batman (like how I mentioned with DS, DP, and Wolverine). It's kinda hard to explain what I mean, but yeah.

Thats hard. Especially with no prep. I am still leaning more towards batman. People bring up good points about how the punisher will do anything to win and can trick people. He has tricked a lot of people so they cant beat him, but in that he obviously has prep. This is no prep. He doesn't have time to poison batman or something. So I am going for batman with his utility belt.

I remember in that "Justice League/Avengers" crossover, Batman fought Punisher, took him two hours, but he won, lol. Frank was no joke.

Batman wins due to skill and stats.

Joker is in no way in Batman's league physically. his insanity makes him immune to pain, forcing Bruce to hold back a lot to avoid accidentally killing him. It is also why he gives so many of the Bat family problems, but not Jason Todd with PIS off. Jason was the elast impressive sidekick next to Tim. Stephanie was not great, but she nearly killed Black Mask after he tortured her.

Batman has armor that can take bullets. He'd be having enough trouble just trying to hit Bats. Batman has taken out stronger, smarter, faster people. Punisher would put up a good fight, but I don't think he can take down The Batman.

@cody1984: punisher has less physical training, less intelligence, and batman has proven time and time again that guns dont matter. before punisher can even think about drawing his weapon batman uses his detective skills to calculate muscle movement and predict it. he'll close the distance, disarm him, and leave him broken before he can even blink. it not that we underestimate puinsher it that dc has similar villains that hes taken down. like death stroke,dead eye, and red hood who he trained himself. punisher may not fight fair but neither does batman and has cheated in combat to win. sorry bats would win :(

Batman 7/10. Batman's body armor and even his cape can take ballistic fire, which should allow him to close the distance and end this fight. I give Punisher 3 out of the 10 fights because he is capable of (1) using explosives to lethal effect on the exposed face of Batman, (2) get a kill shot into Batman's exposed face, or (3) use flashbangs to disorient Batman, before going for a kill shot. These are the only ways I can think of that Frank takes Bruce, and they all require that Punisher makes the first move, or he surprises Batman in some way.

Otherwise, Batman should win here. Punisher is just an expert marksman/soldier/commando - better than guys like Bullseye and Deadshot (who are master assassins) - but something Batman has faced and could take on in a random encounter.

The Punisher usually uses his brain to outsmart opponents who are more skilled than him but he can't do that in this instance as Batman is as tactically aware (possibly more so depending on who you ask) as Frank. Batman gets a good majority.

Punisher wins the only reason Frank loses in the cross overs is because the genuine reason that batman is a face of dc comics when frank is considered a b class character in many fans eyes but Frank should win.

another reason the punisher wins is the fact he has no morals now many people will say oh he fights people without morals all the time but Frank is like batman without all the silver spoon BS he has fought daredevil bullseye captain america daken winter soldier and other great fighters.people always say batman because he is one of dc's ,main characters but i believe in my opinion punisher is a superior character and also in terms of combat it is basically even.

Batman has mastered 127 martial arts. The punisher knows like 5 or 6. Batman has also fought people with no morals. Punisher loses.

You have to make Batman naked, starved, drugged, and sleep deprived to make this a fair fight. Batman wrecks that loser Punisher.
