Batman vs Nightwing

Nightwing is the next generation Batman he's faster, He may not be smarter but he sure aint dumb.He's Kobe Bryant and granny bats is Jordan.

Nightwing is barely faster that is all, and the difference in speed is so small that it doesn't even matter. Batman is stronger, more durable, smarter, has more experience, is better trained, and knows Nightwing better than Nightwing knows him. Nightwing is better than Bruce was at that age, but not better than he is now. The only way Nightwing would win was if he fought Bruce when he was the same age as Dick is now and was still learning.

I agree. Batman is a much stronger fighter, he's smarter, etc., what he said. He's got more gadgets and he taught Dick everything he knows. It's like Silver Surfer and Galactus.

I think Nightwing could have the upper hand 'cause Bruce wouldn't want to hurt him. That was Tim's reasoning. Sure maybe Bruce could find a way to incapacitate Dick without doing permanent damage but he'd have to before Dick got to him. Bruce has admited that Tim will be better than he is.

True but I really can't see Bruce harming Tim. I think it'd break his heart.

I'm not saying Nigthwing compares to Bats as a fighter buy I'm sure he too has learned something from all his years as leader of the Titans and currently the Outsiders. I still say Bruce's emotions would prevent him from fully going all out on Dick (or Tim). That would be a slight advantage for them. Enough? Probably not.

Well if we're talking about the wonderful "All Star Batman and Robin," because Batman made him eat rats.

I don't know if Dick would ever go all out. Bruce has more emotional issues. He's always kept them locked up for the most part. As crazy as a life as Dick has had, his has been a little closer to some normalicy. He's had the chance to "hang out" with friends (in the Titans) and has had actual relationships with Starfire and Babs. Bruce needs Dick more than Dick would need Bruce.

Or maybe not.

Bruce wins, because he DOESN"T HAVE those connections you discussed, G-Man. He's almost inhuman. No family, few friends. It's not a limitation.

Batman would win because just as Buckshot stated earlier, Batman is currently stronger, more durable, much more experienced and is truly intelligent. Nightwing might be able to hold his own for a short while, but eventually, Bruce would out do Dick.

Batman taught Dick. He knows Dick's style of fighting, and he's stronger, smarter, and more skilled. He's just barely slower than Nightwing, not enough to make much of a difference. But they wouldn't fight anyways.

That would only be meaningful if both had been training the same amount by then. If at 27 one had been training for 10 years and one for 1 year, what would you learn to learn that the one training for 10 years wins the fight?

Nightwing isn't 27, so how are we supposed to evaluate what he'd be like at 27?
