Batman Vs. Luke Cage
@juiceboks: Yes, Random encounter.. but Bruce still has his standard equipment and weapons..
@mavfan626 Okay. I don't think Bruce can take down Luke with anything in his standard arsenal.
@juiceboks: What about Knock out gas? also I think Bruce carries pretty strong tasers.. Though I don't know if it is strong enough to to harm Luke..
@mavfan626: It's not like Luke's just gonna stand there I mean one hit and he pretty much handicap Batsy
@thatguywithheadphones: I'm pretty sure Bruce would be able to dodge most to all of Luke attacks, I mean he's faced people like Luke before..
@mavfan626 The gas might work..the taser shouldn't do too much though.
@mavfan626 Luke Cage isn't slow. He's tagged people just as quick if not quicker than Batman. Taskmaster, Venom, Sabretooth to name a few.
Batman stomps
PS:He's faced stronger beings before(Bane,KIller Croc,Superman)
Bane and Killer Croc aren't even close to being as strong or durable as Cage is. And ignoring context by adding Superman doesn't make it correct.
If knockout gas or nerve strikes don't work on Cage then Batman loses.
Knock out gases and nerve strike do work on Luke Cage. Black Panther without any powers floored him with one and there was another instance back in the day of someone using it on him, but I can't remember who.
Well, I'll keep it simple.
If this is just a random encounter, is it safe to say one good swing from Cage would floor Bruce, with just standard equipment on? I'm not saying it'd be an easy hit to connect, knowing Bruce wouldn't just stand there.
However, I don't see Luke just allowing Bruce to use knockout gas on him out of no where. I also don't see Bruce getting in fast enough to hit some nerve strikes, also trying to think of how durable Luke would be towards them.
All I'm pretty sure of is, if Luke hits Bruce once, I'd think Bruce would be out, or just knocked back enough for Cage to get in some more hits. Now, if Bats played the evassive game [Also taking in mine this is a random encounter], maybe he'd have more time to use his gadgets on Luke. That being said, Luke isn't slow.
It'll take some work on Bat's part to get good ol Powerman down. However, I still think if this is just a random encounter, Luke would take it.
On that note, where are we talking too? Would Bruce even think of Luke Cage as any kind of abnormal threat, due to his casual appearance? Maybe Luke would even just take Bruce by surprise. Honestly hard to say. Like I said, I give it to Cage.

Then Batman wins.
How would a guy like Luke even be able to suffer nerve strikes ? i mean he has tanked hits from far stronger beings as his insides should've been destroyed ,it doesn't make sense at all but i am saying Luke wins has far to many advantages .
@thebatman98: Superman? Are you on medicine?
there is no way luke beats batman unless Bruce gets paralyzed or just stands there he has beaten far to many higher tier bricks for me to think cage stands that good of a chance.
A nerve is under the skin... How the hell can a nerve strike affect Luke Cake with is "unbreakable Skin" !! I call WIS !

^^This. Plus, Luke Cage is faster than Batman. And since this is a random encounter, Batman wouldn't know that he'd need to use nerve strikes to take down Luke Cage. Batman will probably start off trying some generic martial arts and get K.O.'d in the process, lol.

Best explanation
Batman gets Batstomped.
Batman stomps

Killer Croc and Bane are weak sauce compare to Luke Cage.Batman have prep time when he face off against Superman,
This is a very interesting fight with no prep, I think Bats will take it 6 out of 10. Bats has dealt blows pretty powerful enough to deal with a morals on Luke Cage. And knock out gas should be able to KO Cage, but I think it would be tough for Cage to be caught in a situation every time, why I give it 6 out of 10 for Bats.
Fairer fight would be if Luke had one arm.
Fairer fight would be Luke with no arms.... And honestly I'd still consider giving it to him.
Thanks for reading,

Batman
Could a thunder clap dissipate or blow knock out gas back at Batman and why does no one think Luke who do that if he saw the knock out gas. He's not an idiot.

Agree here, he's led two different Avenger squads.
