In-character. Pre-Flashpoint. Batman gets one-sided prep, but only Wayne resources (no calling in The New gods or the JLA for help, for instance). Batman must fight alone - he can't get Green Lantern to assist him, for example. How much prep is required? If you can give reasoning that's bonus points for you. Lobo coincidentally is hired to bring in an alien disguised as a human in Gotham City when Batman gets the chance to ambush him at the same time Batman is done with his prep time. Bonus points if you give a synopsis of how it goes down. Lobo is armed with his standard gear. Batman need only KO or subdue Lobo for one minute to win.
Batman vs. Lobo (please read OP)
@the_last_son_of_czarnia: Would Lobo's Red Lantern ring count as standard gear?
Batman could prepare a speech in 2 days and try talking to Lobo
or 31 DAYS to make of gotham a whole fighting scenario, built a huge magnetic antenna so Lobo doesn't use he's hook and motor bike or guns, built a couple of (non metal) bat-robots sentinels to keep Lobo busy a while, put the (non metal) bat-copter flying in automatic fire aiming Lobo, use a couple of explosive batarangs for distraction and the (non metal) bat-jetpack to keep a looong distance then remote control the bat-mobile (with anything magnetic in it) with a thermobaric bomb inside to hit Lobo and explode to KO him for more than 1 minute maybe.
What do you guys think? did i miss somethingg? too exaggerated?
@the_last_son_of_czarnia: the thermobaric bomb is 300 metres and is not nuclear, i am sure it could take lobo down for a time
@the_last_son_of_czarnia: Thanks, I'm not sure if there is any other way than finding a way to mind control Lobo and make him kill himself. And as you know he wouldn't kill himself but he would k.o. himself for a period of time.
Not sure what type of gear he used but he did this one time to catch a time warping bounty hunter that was after him that he was after. Figured if he killed himself the bounty hunter would come collect his body and he would wake up and kill the bounty hunter ... which he did. Not sure if he was out for 60 seconds though.
Lobo never met Deathstroke pre-New 52.
@sandiego008 Mind control might not be necessary for Batman - if he can get Lobo to make a promise, he'll keep it, no matter how stupid.
@the_last_son_of_czarnia: Ahhh for some reason (probably the beer) the main mans word slipped my mind as being a great weapon against him.
