They meet Joker thugs who provoke them... they answer on that with they beast form... after finish with that thugs, they until effect of moon go bloodlusted and start to terrorize Gotham and his citizens...

Batman don't have much time for prep (let give him 3 hours)...

Battle all around Gotham...

Brothers go on to kill Batman... Batman on K.O. or death...

By CV standards 3 hours of prep time is more than enough for Bats to take this. He could even have a nice dinner + a bubble bath in that time.
