One year of Batman studying the Guardians is a bit much. Lol.

If the Guardians were at least aware of Batman, maybe they could have a very good chance of winning.

Because the Guardians are oblivious, this is just not fair...

I'm curious what he'd do with Groot though....

It's crazy how a few years ago, when I was one of the only ones supporting the Guardians in the battle forums, no one agreed with me that the Guardians could take out anyone, let alone 1 year prep Batman. Now that they have a movie coming out, they're stomping everyone in the threads. Lol. I'm loving the exposure they're getting, but this is crazy. I could understand if the Guardians had equal, or even less prep, but they don't even know that Batman is planning to attack them. Lol.

@tparks: Thing is, what is he suppose to do to Groot? Sure I maybe see Bruce being able to take out the others, but Groot?...Don't know.

He's not killing or KO'ing Groot, but with a year of prep, he can probably find a way to bust up Groot, and contain his splinters in something that is too durable for even Groot to bust out of. Maybe an Nth metal container or something.

I don't think this will be easy for Batman, but since the OP says Batman can somehow spy on the team for an entire year while prepping, and the Guardians are clueless, I would think he'd have some sort of plan like this for Groot.

I think if the Guardians were aware at all that Batman was going to attack them and that he has studied them for a year, then Batman would lose, because Star-Lord and Rocket would pick holes out of his prep plan and then simply overpower them with their superior firepower and tech.

How does Batman spy on the Guardians? They're rarely even in the same solar system as Earth.

He can't debate on Batman threads. Plus, I heard he was banned.

@tparks: Eh...well prepping and executing a plan are two different things. I mean if he's fighting all of them at once, how is he gonna execute all his plans to take them all out? Sure he could probably take out one, but then what's stopping the others from ganging up on him or whatever?

Plus there isn't really anything that Bats could exploit specifically. In fact, who's to say that his prep won't completely backfire on him?

I mean it's just not entirely viable to the point where Bats could take on an entire team of this caliber with 1 year of prep and not having something come outta left field and completely undermine it.

Why do most of Batmans fights revolve around him plotting against an opponent that is completely unaware.

@flashgreatersigneveryone: Yeah but again planning =/= actually fighting. It can't really work for any team really, there would be too many things going on for any plan to actually be successful.

one year of planing? i don't think you understand, there were 1000x more variables when they planned for launching apollo 11 a lot of which were discovered weeks before the launch. planning and executing are essentially synonymous dude

Can he take them out one at a time (not saying he can, but still curious) or must he fight them all at once? Executing that many plans at once in combat is difficult even for comic characters. Of he starts out of sight and can maybe ninja-ambush one at a time he's got a chance. Otherwise all at once I think Guardians.

Batman attacks Star Lord then Drax, Gamora and Groot use the diversion to grab and stomp the ever living s**t out of Batman rendering his prep moot.

what? a team of scientist for 1969!! executed a plan with only a few weeks of prep and 1000x more variables then this fight perfectly and you're saying batman can't execute a plan with way more time and way less variables perfectly?

you're not making any sense? do you just not want the team to lose or something? i know i don't. but face it they lose under these conditions..
