@shawnbaby: Right. But this is a balance of who is a better fighter, as Gandalf fought the Balrog, Bruce has fought multiple magic users before. I have no say in this, though.

The Dark Knight should win. He would either get access to the Insider Suit or he would create a specific gadget within the 2 hours of prep he possesses and this gadget would probably be a key factor when in the responding of Gandalf`s magic or supernatural abilities, a reversal defense mechanism could be in place once the match begins.

Bruce without a doubt.

In terms of fighting ability? Batman is a superior fighter. In terms of actual power? Gandalf is superior.

I'm guessing that Bruce knows who he is up against correct? If so, then Bruce can win this battle.

@shadowpro: Gandalf is actually an istari, name given a maiar in disguise. Maiar are lesser angelic beings, immortal, along with stronger ones called valar. There is no clear distinction between the two, the stronger ones are called valar, and weaker called maiar.

The Valar, Maiar, and those of their kind who never entered the world are collectively called as Ainur. They were created by eru, Toaa of Lotr world. He made some things, and the song of Ainur on those theme created the world. Strongest of the Ainur, Morgoth/Melkor, however, rebelled against eru. The sauron you saw in the movie was actually the greatest servant of Morgoth. Gandalf, along with some other maiar was sent by the valar to guide the mortals, but not to engage in direct combat with sauron. These came to be known as istari. Gandalf's real name is Olórin, the wisest maiar.

There are a lot of new terms, but hopefully that helps. I could explain in detail if you want.

Gandalf is like angel, right? and his kind is like the weakest one of all, but yet, he is the wisest one of his kind, which means he is like the strongest one there is among them and Morgoth is like the devil and.. what is sauron?

As said, Gandalf is like an angel, but there is no clear distinction between the two types of angels, if they are two types at all. The stronger ones are (rather randomly) called valar, while weaker ones are called maiar. Maybe like a captain and a lieutenant. . Sauron used to be one of the good guys, before he was corrupted by morgoth, and became his most trusted servant. He is the strongest of maiar, While Gandalf is the wisest. (Some people argue that Gandalf could actually match with sauron in power, but iirc gandalf himself admitted it wouldn't be the case) In any case, the witch king beating gandalf by breaking his staff in the movie wasn't that accurate..

This battle is over. You said Eru cannot intervene, that means Gandalf has access to his full capabilities, he stomps. He could kill Batman in a multiple number of ways. Throwing him into orbit, making him kill himself, scorching him to death, electrocution, basically what I'm trying to say is, Gandalf stomps, this should be locked.

I agree this is a should be locked thread, I don't care what prep Batman has, no way he beats a Wizard as powerful as Gandalf. These Batman "feats" are insane, but realistically he is a human with just tech, that will be wiped away by the spells Gandalf can cast.

easy. gandalf given the fact that he can resurrect I would think he would win. maybe gandalf should have been put up against a more powerful character. im thinking Q. or maybe galactus.

how is this not spite? Gandalf would end him. lock this. Gandalf has deflected an attack from Gimli and Legolas when they were both trying to kill him(thought he was saruman) and he heated Aragorns sword so hot he couldn't hold it. Those all being his "weaker" non-verbal spells. How does batman avoid his suit becoming superheated? Or temporarily blinded in stabbed in the face?
