Honestly. With guidance from the Watcher almost anyone could beat Galactus.

Tony, Reed, Panther, Pym, Banner, Beast....tons of people actually. Not just Tony.

Yeah, I agree Tony is a pretty damn good strategist and tactician guy is a CEO and hangs with Generals all day long.
