Batman and Data is a much fairer fight that Data vs Colossus.

This is an old question, but it was never resolved. Data does win the fight, in my opinion. Batman's punches aren't going to affect Data, but Batman will be injured by Data's hits. And Batman's not fast enough to avoid Data, either: he's fighting an android, after all.

I agree that Data should take this relatively easily. Data sees in slow motion. In fact he sees so slowly that he's proven to have FTL reflexes. He can move his hands faster than the human eye. His strength is on the 2-4 ton range. And Data is extremely durable. Unless Batman is armed with PIS, I don't think Batman is hurting Data. Batman may have an advantage in skill. But Data has the ability to mimic movement to an exact precision. The only way Batman wins is if Batman has prep and Data doesn't. If Data has prep Batman is toast. Data's intelligence is his greatest attribute. His intelligence is on par with or surpasses the intelligence of Reed Richards. And I'm not a fanboy making all of this up. My respect thread supports all of what I've said.

Even with prep, I don't know what good that'll do Batman, assuming the fight is strictly hand-to-hand.
