Batman vs Black Panther

Coldcast isn't a brick (he's an energy manipulator if I remember right) but he looks like he could be and he took down Superman.

He's the black guy.

anyway there are some good black characters out there like Spawn, to name one. he's a demon with trillions of powers and one of them is super speed. never realy used but he has it. you have to remember that Marvel and DC were very racist in the past and now they are showing that they don't carry the same veiws as past owners did. anyway out of the two DC is more racist than Marvel. snide comments and pointless remarks are all i remember from the comics. it its pretty recent considering that I started and stopped reading DC comics when I was 16 and I have just turned 19 last week.

but don't get me wrong i do like DC i just think they don't want to take the time to make a powerful black character. marvels most powerful black character is Storm (i think) and she's like a goddes in herself so i don't think they did too bad in that front.

what about Apocalypse, ok he’s Egyptian and I’m personally from morocco and I consider myself to be closer to black than anything else. So what category will he come under? Because the only real good Egyptian based character is moon knight. But because he is based on batman they made him a Jewish white guy with an attitude and disgustingly rich. Honestly they could of made him atleast originate from Egypt or something.

Both those characters are not visibly black (Apocalypse,Spawn). And they are heavier hitters than normal for black characters. They are also both evil or (Spawn) powered by evil.

But Apocalypse wasn't black forever and Spawn is burnt and indistinguishable.They both have or had low moral character.

I tried to think of a top tier from Marvel (who was male like Apparition mentioned in her post) and couldn't. It looks like Marvel is definitely behind the other companies in this.

I don't know about more skilled. That is a pretty tough call. Black Panther is one of the best fighters in the Marvel U but so is Batman.
