@notaidiotidoit: I've read quite a bit of Panther and don't see him as a schemer. A scientist, planner and martial artist yes, but schemer no.

Bruce is often more like a super villain who fights crime than a "hero". He layers plots and schemes and plans together to guarantee success.

For me that puts Panther at a strong disadvantage.

This really is a great battle that could go either way.

@tparks: Why? Black Panther has MUCH more material to work with and to prepare against Batman. He has enhanced stats and Batman has no counter for the Vibranium suit. They both are extremely smart, both are tacticians, both know about stealth and Black Panther's goes as far as actually blocking telepathic wavelengths.

Black Panther is overall higher than Bruce in most areas and when he's not he's flat out equal.

I scrolled to the end of that story and when I saw them say "black panther is similar to another foe batman has beaten deathstroke" that whole thing lost credibility.

Black Panther with King of the Dead upgrade stomps. Black Panther with vibranium suit wins. Batman is good but I don't see hi outsmarting someone who is beyond his intellect.

There is very little difference between king of the dead and herb black panther.

That is debatable. I wouldn't say his gear is better so much as it would say it is better suited for some situations than Priest era or Hudlian era.

His vibranium microweave has better feats. Not to mention the force field doesn't provide protection from every direction. Its good but the vibranium suit is better.

He never really used the teleporter much in combat. Cloaking is good but its less helpful against someone with enhanced senses or precog.

We don't know if the claws black panther displayed were anti-metal. He has no feats with the claws as far as I remember. The energy daggers were good though.

I would say those were fair game for the time period.

When did he use it to catch black swan? I remember the former instance.

It just has better feats. It took multiple hits from iron fist which were stated to be on par with a freight train, iron man said he had to choke black panther out, he used the vibranium soles in his boot to stop a car thrown by the hulk, etc.
